I have watched some of your videos specifically on chipping videos. Finally got my grove back around the green. And made couple of chip in for birdie Yesterday.

Clay thank you for making these videos. By far my favorite golf tutorial videos on KZbin. I am a beginner and love learning the do’s and don’ts when practicing my swing. Do you think you might make a video that focuses on the things a beginner should mostly focus on and the things to definitely make sure not to do? I find that it is difficult to put a handful of these tips together as a beginner to create a nice swing. Once again thank you for the videos.

Love the humble brag. Don’t wanna hit the people on the other side of the range so I gotta club down. Nice.😂🤣

It doesn’t look simple to me but I’ll try it at the range this week. I have never hit a hook in my life. It’s either straight or full slice.

Clay, love your videos. Why not close the face more during the set up for drawing the ball Instead of working hard on hands for closing clubface at impact. Tell us the difference please.
@TopSpeedGolf4 жыл бұрын
Setting up with too strong of a grip can cause you to swing over the top or many other issues. It can help but it's usually not the answer.
@shihtzuview71864 жыл бұрын
@@TopSpeedGolf I mean just rotating the club to make the face "close more", not changing the grip. The downswing is the same except the hands movement --- to achieve the clubface closer, such as 15 degree, at impact. Now set the clubface close at the same degree during setup. In theory, it should result the same draw effect, my view. What are the negative issues? Could you try it yourself because my swing has many other issues, hard to tell the difference.

@@shihtzuview7186 I love hitting right to left shot. Simply aim to the target , Ball in your left heels and close your stance . Ball should go right to left without closing your club face.
@shihtzuview71864 жыл бұрын
@@elvinb74 Thanks. I know close stance will do it but what if once I need more draw, no more options.

Hey, thanks for the interest but Clay doesn't offer private lessons. He focuses all his time on making videos and running the business. This allows him to help as many people as possible. Robin, our Director of Instruction, does private lessons in the Orlando, FL area. If interested then follow this link: topspeedgolf.com/in-person-lessons-with-robin-rosado/. Play well! the problem with all this inside swinging and that release is snap hooking it off the planet.. such a difficult thing to thing to time this all up.
@TopSpeedGolf4 жыл бұрын
Hi Marcus, yes, you can over do it. If you're slicing it then you want to get to where you can hit snap hooks and then ease off of it to straighten it out. Play well!
