Not being a jerk goes a LONG ways. Pull over first safe spot. Myself I don’t grab anything. Window down, car off. Go from there. “ License ? In my billfold, have to unhook seat belt?” Pause “go ahead”. Insurance in glove box “go ahead” or that’s fine. Seems to relax things I’m not digging stuff out as they walk up, just hands on wheel. In winter “is it ok if I keep car running?” I have always been told that’s fine. I have gotten one ticket. And he reduced it 10mph. which saved me a lot. State Trooper was going to ticket me. No doubt. Important call came over his radio. He tossed my stuff back. “Get out of here” tore off. Saved me $$$$

Have velcro on the shoulder straps and another plate of armor in a flip up pouch that overlaps the stomach plate so once you pull it over you flip up the front pouch and slap the velcro pads together on the shoulder straps. Or just a separate bulletproof baby bib lmao
