If you do requests I'd like to see a video on phrasing, the sort of call and response of licks. This is more like it, some rules of thumb, that's the easiest way to start for a rookie like myself, get rulrs nailed then use them to go off piste. Pure gold= Start on 5th chromatic run to flat 3rd or opposite way around, boom, I can play n make blues sounds. Same runs with root pedal, now I'm cooking on gas😎😎😎🎅🎅🎅🎅

it really shows people how to avoid the old and crusty, cliche lines that are absent mindedly taught without any reasoning. I, for one, speaking for myself here, have never learned well by example. while I can copy and paste easily enough, I want to understand the working guts of the thing. I want to personalize it and get the most out of my own originality. like the old say goes, you can give someone a fish or teach them how to fish and I think as I've previously mentioned, you are nailing that home... like a turnaround, for me anyway.
