This was fire and well explained but how do you get your entire mix to -7 LUFS without destroying it and not have any problems with low end especially with a beat thats hitting this hard because i have this issue with my mixes and cant push them further below -11 LUFS and sometimes -12 LUFS even if i like it to go below ?, would love to hear your answer from you or anyone.

When you can’t get it past -10 especially, it’s most likely because you have too much low end in your mix and your levels are a bit off, assuming you are using quality software and/or know how to work a limiter to your advantage. If you like a lot of bass, that’s fine, but most of these mainstream songs don’t have that much. A lot of it is good tech too, it takes two pretty good limiters to push rap music to -7 or even -6 without much distortion. With EDM this is easy because there’s not a lot of low end and the high end is just super loud

Ahh it depends on your audio interface, with focusrite Scarlett it’s very hard to get rid of delay.. I recommend trying to get your buffer size as low as you can in the audio settings in FL Studio
