Dude, it's pretty much a plug for their plugins. No pun intended.

@@BigMuff75 I'm fully OK with them advertising their plugins in tutorials if there's also useful information coming along with it. That seems like a mutually beneficial arrangement to me.

Awesome overview, I really think this was my weakest area in my drum mix! I'd love to see how you all do relative leveling of cymbals to the rest of the kit in the future!

What a great guy. I was literally just struggling to EQ my cymbals and next thing I know this is on my recommended feed.

That HPF was what I needed. I didn’t realize cymbals took up so much low and mid range. I already cut my problem high frequencies, but once I applied that HPF my song became even clearer. Thanks Joey! I love your “how to mix” segments. I had to use one yesterday on my toms and now they sound great. I don’t think there’s a problem I could have that you haven’t done a tutorial on and my music thanks you bro! I’m getting better with every release.

Your content is always so useful. You teach this so well and you make it easy to understand. I already learned some cool stuff on this channel. Thank you. There's always something new for me to take away from each video.

This channel has taken my mixes to a whole new level. If anyone would like to hear my most recent mix, let me know and I will send it to you. I don’t want to spam this channel.

Very cool. I always struggle with cymbals and can never get them sounding smooth. There always seems to be some resonance that sounds like sleigh bells that I can never get rid of.

I do it very similar, but I need the clarify plugin 😃

Hey Joey I love your videos. You put your ideas in a way I can understand. Can you make a video about EQing harsh frequencies in an entire mix? Like what to look for and where the typical offending frequencies.

This was interesting, just started a new way for cymbal mixing ,i compress oh a little not even spot mics and to glue the kit with parallel drum bus,and at final my cymbals go to the master bus compressors only a little bit,and the on another bus with no comp for vol ,like a parallel master bus !!

What was the name of the first track/artist, as well as the very last song during the outro? Great videos! I wish you guys would add the credits of the artists you use in the description not only for them, but also for our listening pleasure! :)

Do you sometimes have to flip polarity on the OHs after low-cutting them due to the resulting phaseshift?
