Did you get bitten by the Buce bug? I did and now seem to be collecting all the various varieties! What kind do you have?

Such a cool Buce! I can confirm the FB group is the best and friendliest group I've found.

I’m happy that you like this plant. BTW, the prices are crazy wherever you live. I moved to Java and here Buce Crocodile costs around 39 cents.

Yeah, most tropical plants and animals are very expensive here. I was born in Singapore and was able to buy fish for cents versus North America....which is where I am now. We're essentially paying for plane fuel.

Wow. Unnoticed too $45 for one plant? I’m in the wrong hobby because I’m a cheapskate. 😂if I spend $18 on a plant I feel like a baller! I think the growers need to make a living wage too. .38 cents per Plant and growers starve.

Beautiful aquascape, thank you very much for posting all of this information on your channel to help us who are looking to get into the hobby. I was wondering if you could tell me the name of the reddish/pinkish plant in the far right foreground in your intro, and if you would recommend it for beginners?
@GavinKohAquascaping11 ай бұрын
Thanks for your comments! There are actually 2 red plants there - Rotala H'ra and Ludwigia Super Red, they are both beginner plants in that they do not need CO2, to get red - just aquasoil and good light and ferts.

@@Tbrooks4104 Whoops, sorry, the far right corner is Alternanthera Reneckii Mini! It is also easy grow, low maintenance.

It looks like your aquarium doesn’t have Co2 injection. They all look so healthy. Do you add liquid fertilizer?
@GavinKohAquascaping Жыл бұрын
Thank you! I don't use CO2 and yes, I do use liquid ferts.

In India I get it rare and when I get it's usually one plant ~10usd. As just for starters we need at least 30-50usd plants. I guess because these buces are also from endemic Borneo only. We are then paying for Ship fuel 😅

True mahn everything is soo expensive in india 😢

The actual ingredient you have to look for is cyanoacrylate. That is fish safe. Deosn't matter what the brand is.

What’s the other big buce you have in your tank?
@GavinKohAquascaping10 ай бұрын
Which one? Can you give me a time code? If you are referring to the big cluster of dark Buce, that is Buce Kedagang.
