Hello Dale, I have published my book, six months now, and everything is fine. But somewhere along the line, new ideas concerning the book continued to flow. Presently I have new chapters, a new arrangement of the chapter and a note section (it wasn't in the published version). I also have a new title for this version: though related, the new title is different. Please Dave what's your sincere advise on how to publish this book. Personally, I want to publish it as a new title, not a new edition. I believe that the new title is more likely to reach more readers and describe the book contents to the audience more than the old one. It has contents that are absent in the other one. Thanks. Looking forward to you candid advise. Your last advise to me, saved me from troubled Waters.

You can unpublish the book and publish the new one. Just keep in mind that Amazon will most likely keep an active page for the old one to accommodate third party booksellers. Once you publish the new book, it won't appear related to the old one at all. This could cause some confusion among your readers if they publish both only to find there is some duplication. That's just something you'll have to deal with given the extenuating circumstances. Best of luck! I hope everything goes well.

You've got quite a few avenues to explore. I'd recommend looking into KDP, IngramSpark, Blurb, Lulu, and Bookvault. Also, I'm not 100% sure how to get your graphic novel into Comixology, but that's a GREAT place to go. I check out a lot of excellent comics through them (though they've more recently moved to Kindle Unlimited). I'm keeping an ear out for more experienced folks in publishing comics and graphic novels. It's much more complex than simply publishing text-based content with few graphics. It gets more complex once you add in high-quality images because the file size increases and greatly diminishes royalties.

I am concerned about a Word doc formatting the way I originally typed it as far as line spacing and such. There are some platforms that charge to publish while most are free but require a revenue share. Amazon KDP is the most popular option. It’s free to use and anytime you make a sale in their platform, they get a portion of your sales and you take the rest. For self-publishing, you let the platform handle the sales and fulfillment. This means you won’t need inventory nor are you responsible for inventory. The platform/retailer handles that. It’s just up to you to provide the best possible book that readers are going to love. Yep, you have a general copyright once you begin work. But, it’s not as enforceable as filing for the legal copyright. Reach out to your region-specific copyright registrar to figure out what your first steps would be. In the US, it generally runs about $65 per publication. You’ll only need one copyright to cover all iterations of a publications (i.e., ebooks, print, audio).

Yes, you can do this from India. When you publish your print version, you can order author copies to sell and for yourself direclty from your KDP dashboard. It's free to publish if you do it yourself. You will have to pay for whatever copies you order, but it will be at cost...meaning just the cost of the printing.

Focus on creating the best darned book in the world, so readers will come to love and cherish your work enough to NEVER think about stealing it. You've got this! Typically it takes between 1-3 days to fully process. If you have a need for that many copies, I recommend looking into offset printing. That's such a large volume that you'll get a far better deal ordering from an offset printer as opposed to a print on demand company. Check out PufferPrint or Vervante. Or, research local printers.
