How to EASILY Remove "AI Info" or "Made with AI" Label in Instagram

Yes some folks are having this issue. To be clear, the original image needs to actually be not made with Ai in any way. It needs to be an original human made (or shot) image.

I was having the same problem, but I figured out a way around it. All you need to do is click the three dots and then edit the post, then delete all but two of your pictures if you have multiple and then go to your activity section of settings, then go to deleted and restore them. And then go back and do the same for the two photos that you did not remove not sure why this works, but it worked for me.

Thanks for the info - so easy! IG seems to be labelling everything that is remotely artistically editted as "AI" now. Especially annoying if you create "fineart" images.

Instagram needs to fix this asap. I’m getting this posted on still images from my own documentary with no way to save the “no label” option - it just keeps defaulting back.

I was getting the same thing just cause I brightened one of my photos, not even with a filter, but just brightened it IN THE Instagram App itself, and it flagged it as "AI Info" - ridiculous. I really appreciate you making this video. I was really upset about that after spending 35 hrs on a 3d render just to have that little label added. I wasn't able to make the edit but I also haven't had the post up for more than a day. The option was not available for some reason.

i think a common misconception is that if you have used any sort of generative functions in PS you with have AI signals within your files. You can strip these using "A better finder attributes" and other software

There's a much easier way to prevent it from happening in the first place. Simply screenshot your image before uploading it to Instagram. AI metadata isn't stored when you screenshot anything.

Thanks for this video. Unfortunately it's not working for me. When I click the dots and go to edit it only gives the option to add a location or music. I've even tried redoing the post with the AI label turned ON so that I can then turn it off after. When I do this, the AI info turns from white to blue like it's been turned off but when I go back to the post, the label is still there?!

@@TomFroese The only temporary work-around I found was to screenshot the image and then crop and post that instead. If you go Export As in Photoshop there is a section at the bottom right of the window which will show you if the image is likely to get flagged as Ai (check Metadata is ticked None and Content Credentials are Not Enabled)

ALL my posts say AI generated - they're absolutely not. When I edit the content AI is always marked as off anyway so I can't do anything about it 👀

Meta apps may themselves be using AI all the time and they've spoilt the search bar on FB with that AI assistant. But when we, the human users upload a creative content piece, it is ever ready to flag it as "AI generated".

Im having the same issues currently, I think its something within the app that wont let you remove it. It’s really frustrating because I barely extended a crop on an image to make it more even, literally a few pixels and it will not let me unflag it.

Also if you use an ai image form midjourney it will get flagged like that but if you filter it on your phone the export it it won’t get flagged

That's a separate issue, if the algo thinks you've posted something in partnership with a company.

Guys, once you add ai to your imagery just save your image a second time through a different software such as screen shot so the Ai metadata isn’t attached

As of 9/17/2024, if you don't see the AI Info button when editing your post, it is likely that you are on Android. I don't have the option to modify AI label on my main android device, but I have the option on iOS device. Thank you for the help Tom.
