How To EASILY Shiny Hunt Bulbasaur In Pokemon Scarlet and Violet the Indigo Disk!

Coincidentally I happened to come across this area myself while shiny hunting Bulbasaur (which is actually my favorite starter) earlier, except I only ran around the pool and didn't go up the cliff. Didn't get the shiny yet, gonna hunt it some more a little later. (I had been hunting in a grassy area [which also had Alolan Exeggutor with the grass sandwich] before finding the barren ground and got a random shiny Zangoose, of all things :p )

@@AthenaBella I just finished the hunt! Got three shiny Bulbs in one sandwich! One had the lunchtime mark. Two of the three were on top of that cliff and the third was tucked at the base of it, in the shadow (I needed to check that one with auto battle lol) I watched your Mudkip vid as well, I will probably do that one next but I need to get some more HMs :p

Thanks for the helpful video! I found this location to be easier to shiny hunt versus in grassy areas - I found 3 shiny bulbasuar during the duration of my sparking sandwich! I just wish you had shared how you made your LVL 3 (sparkling and encounter) sandwich, I spent some time looking around for the recipe! Extra tips for those still having a difficult time! I defeated 60 (not auto battle) in a row and saved and made Grass SPARKLING and ENCOUNTER LEVEL 3 sandwich (1 pickle, 1 cucumber, 3 lettuce, and 2 Herbs Mysticas) **Make sure they are not sweet and sour or both sweet**. Go around the edge of the perimeter of the canyon cliff shown in the video and be sure to look over the edge too! If you dont find any shiny Bulbasaur in your time, no need to waste the sandwich! Restart the game and make the sandwich again to re-roll your odds. Hope this helps!

Congrats on your shinies! I had made sandwich videos in the past and it didn't occur to me to add in the recipe that I used until later guides when I did start adding them. I'm very glad this worked for you. You don't have to KO 60 though since it isn't an outbreak and thus doesn't affect your odds. Thanks so much for posting a recipe to help others!

Question how are you having the Gender being shown before you get into a Battle with it everytime I lock on to Pokemon I don't see their Gender or anything else?

So on the computer in the clubroom where you unlocked the starters, there is something you can buy that allows you to see gender, along with whether they are marked or large/small! I think it's from the photography club?

I git all Alola starters as shinies and I got them through mass outbreaks. I just turned the time one day ahead and looked for the new outbreaks until I got all three. I think this is even easier than the isolation method

I prefer isolate over outbreaks unless I'm humungo/teensy hunting. There's also those who are trying to save certain outbreaks or events, or just don't like date skipping. I just do my best to help everyone. Congrats on all your shiny starters!! 😁

Been playing since emerald never shiny hunted before ever. Recently as I’m older and have more patience I decided to try now. Tell me why after watching your Frokie Video and now this Bulba one did I find shinies of both straight away ( 2 for bulbasaur) after one sandwich, no shiny charm (I’ll never have patience to complete a Pokedex 😂). I literally started an hour ago am I lucky or with this method is it really that easy.

In this particular game it has the potential to really be that easy haha sometimes though your rng takes a turn and it takes a lot of time to get one, but with sandwiches and isolated hunting like this it can be very very easy haha

When using shiny sandwhich, do u make the encounter boost grass or poison? Or does it not matter which type you make it

It shouldn't matter honestly, but I used grass because it's the only grass type to spawn up there

I’ve asked a few other people this and can’t seem to get an answer.. in order to do any type of shiny hunt do I need to have the shiny charm from completing the paldea Pokédex first?

No! 😁 the shiny charm makes shiny hunting easier, but you can shiny hunt without the shiny charm it just takes a little longer

@rjstylezgaming9939 good luck on your hunts! Just so it helps shiny odds without the charm are 1/4096 and shiny odds with the charm are 1/1365. Outbreaks make your odds better with or without the shiny charm if you ko 60 mons in the outbreak then just reset by running away and despawning the pokemon then run back in and respawn and check them. Just keep repeating that. Sandwiches with sparkling/ encounter power will also help your odds

Could you check your sandwich for me next time you try it and make sure you have Grass Encounter Power 3 and not Experience Power 3? :) I have had a lot of people say the same thing and that ended up being the problem!

Please make sure you have Encounter Power instead of Experience Power on, that has been the biggest problem people have had. I assure you, it works friend!

@@AthenaBella I did. But what I ended up doing is making a poison sparkle power Sammy and it worked. No idea why grass didn’t. Smh. 🤷‍♂️

Most people who had the same problem accidentally got Experience power instead of Encounter power so I thought I would throw out that suggestion first. Weird that it didn't work for you, but glad you did get it to work eventually!

@@_C3_Cal they are there both day and night. Make sure you are using grass encounter power. Many people have accidentally gotten experience power instead of encounter power 🙂

Yes! Fly to Canyon Rest Area flight path and all around that little grassy area with a fire sandwich you can isolate Litten

The 2 recipes I use are Sandwich 1) 1 Lettuce, 1 Salty Herba 1 Sour Herba Sandwich 2) 1 Cucumber, 1 Pickle, 3 Lettuce and any 2 herba other than sweet/sour together
