Good Tips! I'd only seen those large heavy hoops, so the ones you're using look like something I could handle. This is the first year I'm actually trying to grow something in the fall/winter. I'm now listed in Zone 7a instead of the 6b/7a 'border'. When I was at Lowe's getting mums the other day, I saw they still had a few veggies out and bought some Romaine Lettuce and Broccoli, so will see how they do. I'm betting I'll eat the lettuce before the end of next month. The Collard Greens I'd planted some time ago still look good so hopefully that'll make it as well. Now that it's cooler, below 80, my Cherry Tomatoes have exploded and I'm harvesting at least a good size handful every day. I'll dig my Sweet Potatoes up next weekend. How are yours doing? Since I'm in the last area of Hurricane Helene's cone, which is the heavy rain and flooding area, I'll have to see how my garden survives this weekend. Hehe - did your 'magic wand' get rid of the squirrel?

Oh, stay safe! Helene looks like a monster! So glad you’re growing some fall veggies! I hope this was helpful. No idea if my sweet potatoes made it through the constant nibbling of their leaves grime the ground hog but will see in a few weeks. I’m finally getting in some blushing up slicers and had my first for dinner tonight. Yum! Enjoy yours :)
