Gorgeous! I also have thin hair and have had 2 disastrous attempts at doing a twist-out on my hair. I’m not entirely sure of my hair type because it is different textures in different parts of my head. Hi I just found your channel and I have thin strands as well. I recently started using Oyin Handmade Whipped Pudding and it is the best styler I've ever used. The Gel Souffle did not work for me and made my hair feel sticky. The Pudding makes soft shiny defined curls/coils... I'm loving it so far. If you decide to try it please do a vid. TS

Love this video. My question has to do with going back and forth between flat ironing and twistouts. I've only been transitioning since the first of the year, but I've had three or four major haircuts. I have yet to do a perm rod set or twist out that achieved even the tiniest bit of definition. It feels soft and conditioned, but with no definition. My blowouts, on the other hand, are great, as long as there's no humidity. I have purchased a crate full of products I'm pretty pleased with, but something's not right. Is my hair just trained to be straight?

You have to train your hair to stay curly. I wouldn't use too much heat

Curly Self-Taught Gymnast perhaps you can try doing a pin curl on the ends. I used to do that when I was transitioning from relaxer and my ends had the perfect curl after take down.

Out hair is quite similar and I've had several stylist say the same thing. Fine just means the strands are small in diameter. Shes prob medium density thoughh which means she has an average number of hairs.
