how to easy quick simple replace aux belt VW golf mk4

Easynow. How to easily replace your auxiliary v belt and pulley tensioner. This method is super quick easy and simple and does not require a second pair of hands. You can do this work on your own and do not have to battle or muscle it into place. Literally a ten minute job to renew the belt and replace the pulley. Like and subscribe if this helps. This was done on a VW Golf mk4 2.3ltr V5 20v. The belt tensioner replacement is almost the same for most cars including VW Ford Audi Vauxhall. Make sure you have the right parts for your car. WARNING:- Make sure you know how the belt is routed around the pulleys. Do not use my car as reference as the belt on your car will have a different route.

Sadly this is a problem when amateurs not trained post videos on KZbin (sorry mate!) but the belts on the wrong damn way around!!!! The ribs on the belt are designed to go inside all pulleys…… if you’re not sure check with an actual trained technician not KZbin so you DO NOT make this mistake!

Don't be that guy. There are ribs on both sides of the belt as it goes over some pulleys and under some others. It is installed 100% correctly. I'm assuming you are an amateur mechanic or you would have known that.( Sorry mate!)
