Bro... thats good information... My Hybrid bike however is having problem in front gears.. I can shift from 1 to 3 from 3 to 2 and 2 to 1 but when i shift from 1 to 2 the chain does not land on the second gear..

My derailleur shifts perfectly to two smaller rings but does not shift to the biggest ring. However, if I hold the shifter for 2-3 seconds, it shifts. What is the problem. Please help. Moreover, the barrel adjuster keeps rotating no matter how much I rotate to tighten it.
