As a former skinny person, the best thing to do is just eat a lot and workout consistently. I’m really ever hungry, particularly when I’m stressed or depressed, but you just have to force feed yourself. Lucky for you won’t need 4,200 calories a day like I do to slowly put on weight.

@@Jannovotny1234 The difference is being enhanced means you can still slam wendys burgers and maintain a 12 pack. Whether you believe it or not, I've personally seen it with buddies that have done and are on cycles. I have to weigh every bit of food i eat and if i lose a pound a week, its a fucking miracle. Ive watched someone eat at least 3k calories in fast food after every workout for weeks at a time. Someone with veins popping from their abs. That's the difference.

Did 400-800mg testosterone for a year came off went through the horrible withdrawals but came out of it all with a decent amount of tissue. Back to natural for now & may just stay natural. From personal experience I went through some up and downs - prefer being natural BUT that time on cycle did build muscle and I did keep about 50-60% of it so I’d say it was worth it. Not promoting this as a good idea but i trained for over 10 years natural have decent genetics and got fed up with the progress after 10 years so I’m glad I did it. It definitely wasn’t a smooth ride but worth it overall and YES in my experience you do keep some of the gains and you can return to your natural hormone levels. I did it for just shy of a year, used other stuff like masteron, anavar, winstrol, tbol and cycled hcg half way through for about 8 weeks. I didn’t do a pct either. As for this diet advice I’d say spot on as usual. Most of what I lost when I dropped the doses and came off was water and glycogen.

Hahaha, I am on another side of the scale. Relatively fat dude, who's gaining muscles and tries to get leaner. I am natty and don't use currently any sports nutrition, like protein shakes, creatine, etc. All this will come later in my journey. So far I am super happy with my results, where I simply cut the junk food and reduced the carbs. Assuming that I had 121kg of weight, 20-25% of which was a pure fat, I try to get around 2g/kg of proteins daily (around 180-190g if you recalculate). Near to no sugars, reduced carbs. Morning I eat 500g pack of faf reduced cottage cheese (almost no fats, some carbs and 60g of protein) with some honey and sesam, pumpkin, etc seeds. For lunch I have around 300g of chicken breast with vegies and some (very little) rice, noodles, whole grain toast, etc which gives me around 60g+ more. I eat it mostly in two sets, otherwise it feels somehow too much. During the day I snack on some cheese, different nuts (peanuts, almonds, cashews) where I get around 20g-30g more. After training and unfortunately before sleep there is a salad with canned tuna or shrimps or air fried chicken breasts and olive oil/balsamic vinegar/both. That's anothe 30g of proteins, which I get. Despite being short on around 20g of protein, I have steady gym gains and weight loss of 10kg over the period of 3 months, which makes me extremely happy! It's hard to stuff yourself with that many healthy and protein rich food to reach that 2g/kg target, but the results are worth it every second I look into the mirror! In several months I'll probably slightly reduce the amount of food and replace it with protein shakes. We'll see where it brings me then :) I hope, this will help somebody with the same goals like mine! Have a great day everyone!

I'm 177 right now, coming from 311lbs, I've got rolls of loose skin. Shit sucks. Cutting down again after a few months at maintaining around 180. Trying to go to 168 before maintenence again.

First three months at a legitimate TRT dose (not super TRT) I put on 15LBS without blinking. The fluctuations in water weight is pretty gnarly. I tend to wake up four-five pounds of lighter.

Dr.mike is a specimen. It feels like he’s not scripted. That means all that nonsense just flows from his brain to his mouth in a coherent, albeit crude, fashion. Incredible. 😂

And that noise he makes at 10:13,.. who wouldn’t typically edit that out of the Final Cut? 😂 You can call dr.mike a lot of things, but authentic-less 😅 is not one of them.

Dr Mike, I thought it might be an interesting topic for one of your next videos to discuss the science on whether muscle tearing equals growth or is antithetical to the best growth curve. I know it has been said a lot in the training community, but when I became a NASM trainer, I heard differently. Seems that tearing means repairing and not recovery, so I’m sure your insight would be appreciated. Dale Smith Former CPT/IFS/SPS

repair = recovery
@dalesmith1700
@dalesmith1700 5 ай бұрын
@@eddiebarton7217 perhaps you should qualify that, because in my training and experience as a medical expert in the Navy and Remote Medical Practitioner, that is not true. You can repair while recovering, but recovering (rest) does not require repair (injury). Thus, the point of my question is: do we actually NEED to tear muscle (or have any level of muscle damage) in order to gain the benefits of the SAID principle?

Eating enough food is harder than I expected. If I eat high calorie junk, I feel awful and dont have energy to lift or do cardio. I've been tracking and you can see month after month increase. 9 months later and I'm up almost 300 calories a day and all of my clothes are too big. Not a bad problem to have

Hey Mike, Can you just do the same or alike for Fat loss from begginer 35% + to 15-12% Body Fat percentage journey and what challenges comes with progess, bodily changes and hunger increase (metabolism shootup), handling it healthy and most important how the Diet should be modified according to progressive fat loss. Would be really helpful guide in the process if you do it. From your knowledge. Thanks ❤

I would add a third situation which is when the level of fat starts pulling on your frame and you have issues sleeping. Of course this depends on how you store fat. I get a gut and it screws up my spine and sleep goes downhill so fast.

Ok so I (6’1” 160lbs) worked out consistently for about a year and half. Ended up basically maxing out at 180lbs, got depressed and have fluctuated between 160 and 185 for the last year or two. I tried to just get fat and I couldn’t even do that. It seems like every time I got a bit heavy I’d lose the weight because I’d get so tired of forcing food in my mouth and I wouldn’t eat for a day or two or I’d get sick. I restarted Monday and I just wanted to say I’m really glad I found your videos. So fuckin funny, reasonable, knowledgeable, and well spoken. Do you have any advice for someone who has trouble eating enough calories like me? I’m doing good right now, but I’m afraid I’ll have one of those days.

Just slowly ramp it up. I find eating a good breakfast super early in the day helps so I'm ready to eat by lunch. I'm 5'9 was like 155 early 20s, managed to get up to 185, down to 175. Things like nuts and grabola bars are really good too, super calorie dense

Liquid calories bro. I started every day with an 800 calorie shake - 16oz milk/oat milk, 2-3tb peanut butter/nut butter, 1 banana, whey protein powder. Besides that, drink shakes with lunch and dinner too. The liquid calories are the cheat code for us naturally skinny small appetite guys

A video on fat/carb/protein intake for natural vs enhanced would be interesting, I see a lot of enhanced people eating very low fat and very high carb I assume because of insulin and not needing fat for hormones but that's not ideal for someone who is natural

Would you ever do a video on body dysmorphia? I get the feeling that if some enhanced people solely use the mirror they could come to an unfortunate end.
