just listening to Ryan gives me a buzz of inspo. The truth is time doesn't exist, there is only now. And are you having fun now?! There is no point doing all this stuff unless you enjoy it. Clearly Ryan loves it. Hard work is also a fallecy. When you are high on life, all the success you want comes to you. You don't need to work hard. I'm the world's leading solo travel expert. No matter what happens, Ive spent 17 years of non stop solo traveling living a life to the full. And now am building my own business to teach people how to live a life of freedom. Every single thing that I wanted came to me in those 17 years without any hard work. I was happy! Thats the magnet to good health and good fortune. Thank you for sharing Ryan. I’ve been intermittent fasting for 5 years as well. It’s been great! I heard from others your mind gets more sharper, so I thought that was something to get into. I must say, my mind is sharper. Also I’ve got positive health benefits. 99% of the rooms, restaurants, meetings, or anywhere I go I’m in better shape than everyone. I take care of my body like a 1932 Dusenburg. I want to live till 150 years old. That’s the goal. ✨😉👍

Great video Ryan. I’ve been training myself on 6 hours of sleep per night for years and then I’ll switch it up on weekends, and also follow similar morning schedule (I.e. that’s when there is less distraction / interference to workout and catch up on deep work. At least for me. Loved the tips on everything else. But I especially agree with your attitude toward all of this - it’s less about what someone tells you works for them or is standard, more about what works for you! That’s the key. To find that.

A pilot who did sleep testing told me about the 25 min nap and the 1.5 hour sleep cycles. As Ryan states everyone is different, but generally you sleep REM after 30 mins, so never nap for more than 25, otherwise when you wake you'll be out of it. WIth regards night time sleep, go in 1.5 hour segments, 4.5, 6 or 7.5, again make sure you're awake not in REM. I've found 6 is great but sometime the odd 7.5 is a nice lie in!

After many years of observation, I discovered exactly the same thing. Physical training gives me energy and also serves as a kind of meditation after a day's work. It makes my mind clearer and more creative. With food, it is the same: if I refuel too much, it is difficult to move, and I have an 8-hour window for food. The body needs energy to digest, and if it has more, this energy goes to the brain, which uses most of it. For all this, discipline is essential! Let me quote one of my favourites. "Everyone must choose one of two pains: The pain of discipline or the pain of regret." I won't even mention surrounding yourself with people who are like a lever for each other. It simply transforms people. Great video, Ryan!

I am a future CEO (launching in 2024). I am a freelancer for now, but have been asking myself questions about my habits. I can relate to A LOT of things that you said. I tried sleeping the 7-9 hours like "normal" people do, because I thought I had to do like everybody... Until I realized that this was way too much sleep for me, since I wake up way more tired than when I sleep less. I can relate with the food part too. Sometimes I eat of lot of things that I feel will keep me on a busy day, like red beans and such, and they make me more tired and slower than when I just eat a sandwich. I fell on this video through my KZbin suggestions, and it is such a great find! I feel more confident in my ability to adapt. (Now for the workout... 🙃)
