How do you lock the fields such as a “check box” once selected and the form/pdf is signed? Thanks

This should answer your questions about locking from perspective of the creator and signer. helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/edit-signed-PDF.html

Thanks so much for this video.. It has been very helpful. However, If I have created a form "with 100's of blocks and check marks" The person I was helping wanted an update on the form How can edit the creation I have made? for some reason It will not allow me to edit blocks, just text an images. I am using DC

I’m not understanding what you mean by “blocks.” And what do you need to edit in them? The font size, for example?

@@HikerKatie sorry to sound so confusing. Basically I created a form like yours in this example by putting blocks for text sizes and everything like you have. I also have Addit checkmark boxes and signature lines. The person I was creating it for loves it has and has used it once or twice but now they want a revision. I have to add another signature block to it and a text block at the bottom. I’m unable to go back in and make edits to the current blocks that I have. Because the only option I have is to make edits to the text and graphics in the current form. I thought I saved the file in a way that if I need to move signature blocks around and other elements of the form in which they need to fill-in but I am unable to do that. I’m trying to figure out a way to send you a copy of the PDF and JPEG form I was wondering if I have to create a whole new form all over again?

@@kpeel1357 try to Save As a pdf and give it a new name. Then close and open this new one. And make sure you are in the forms section. I suspect you saved it as Reader Enabled. You may have also applied security. If so, do this: “Unlock” tool: Choose “Tools” > “Protect” > “Encrypt” > “Remove Security.” If you’d like to send me a copy, you could paste a link to Google drive, OneDrive, drop box etc.

And just to be clear, you are talking about Form Fields, not just text fields added to the pdf. These “blocks” are fillable firm fields, where someone will be adding text to the form, not static text fields you add.?

Hello, I new to acrobat. I have a form that I'm putting in about 300 text fields to be fill out. I would like to change the font size and style to all the fields. Is there a way to do it for all of them without having to go to each field?
@HikerKatie3 жыл бұрын
You can select all: then right click on one and change it there for all.

Did you get this to work? Control A to select all?

You can merge the fields in the spreadsheet, so after you complete your survey or form, manipulate the spreadsheet however you like. You can even download and save as Excel and use Excel if you like.
