You can use magic grab. That works really good. Even better than the magic eraser.

Thanks! I was trying to figure out how to use these tutorials to glorify God and the answer was so simple. Just add a little scripture :)

thank you for sharing this! I've been looking all over youtube on how to take premade designs and recreating them in canva and this was exactly what I have been looking for. Can you please do more video tutorials like this, they are very helpful for us who have no design skills but want to create something different. Thanks again!!

I am getting a yellow color over the entire image when I click on edit button. I have not been able to edit any of the images either .png or .jpg in Canva. I do have the pro version as well. I'm not sure why these images are uneditable. Do you have any hints for this?

So is it SVG or PNG that you can edit in or both? Thanks for your easy following tutorials
@CrystalsCrafties2 ай бұрын
Hi Pam! An SVG file can be completely edited. You can change the colors, remove parts of the design without deleting what you want to keep, change the entire shape of the design...there's really so much you can do with an SVG file. Canva is limited on what edits can be made to SVG files but there are other great programs out there that provide tons of possibilities. A PNG file can have parts deleted and elements added to "make it your own".

Is this a design that you could sell since you edited it? Or would you say more transforming would be needed?

• 1 day ago Hi! For accurate legal advice, please contact an attorney. Creative Fabrica does include a commercial license with the designs if you have a subscription. Their licence agreement is pretty detailed and will go over what is and what is not allowed when it comes to selling digital files. In general terms, if you have added enough of your own flair to the design that the original artwork is transformed and not able to be separated out on it it's own, it's okay to sell the digital file. It's always better to air on the side of caution with these things. If you have any doubts about it...don't do it. Hopefully that was helpful :)

I’ve been enjoying your canva videos very much. Some great skills I never knew about. I’d like to correct you on how to pronounce creative fabrica, it doesn’t rhyme with paprika, it’s fabric-ahh.

What programs are free to use for a SVG please.
@CrystalsCraftiesАй бұрын
For SVG, the best free program is Inkscape. This has to be downloaded on your computer. It's not the most user friendly or the easiest to figure out but once you get the hang of it, it really is the best free SVG software out there. I do have a few tutorials on my channel showing how to use different parts of Inkscape.

Im a beginner trying to learn these things and was wondering. After I remake the image over to my own, can I sale the image in digital files or on products? Loved your tutorial .

Hi! So, after you add your own flair to the design you are absolutely welcome to sell products with the design on them (t-shirts, mugs, canvas bags, etc.). It gets a little more tricky when you want to sell the image as a digital file. Hopefully that was somewhat helpful :)

@@CrystalsCrafties I was wondering the same thing, for example how many things should be changed? What do you mean by "separate it out". Reading the terms is too complex, would love a video where you or someone goes through it in lame basic language. Could you use the image if you changed colours, words and added elements, on a book cover? Could you just cite/reference the artist in your index or inside the cover of your book? I was also researching Canva, and it's tricky too, all these elements are created by different artists, and I think it says the pro features belong to them, so if you use them I think Canva owns a part of your product? When in doubt I cite/reference whee I to things from, I like your advice too it's like if we are not comfortable, then don't do it...hahah. When in doubt. It's just tough when you see too many people do these things with no awareness, and we want to do it the right way
