in this software you can edit image exposure, brightness, contrast ,saturation etc .But can't remove or change the background .

Ok, but what about editing of shadows and highlights? How much detail can you recover from shadows?

@@LinkonTalukder it would be great if you could compare the postprocessing JPG vs RAW with P1000. The lack of RAW was a big complain of its predecessor P900. So the question is if the postrocessing of RAW files of that tiny sensor is indeed better than JPG.

While the sensor is small, raw quality is comparatively better .( 32MB per raw file )

Sorry to reply late.. 1 use Memory Card Reader for PC . 2 use Nikon Capture NX-D RAW Processing Software . 3 nikon raw file name (NEF)

You need to show how to import raw files, other than directly from the camera. Also cut out the background noise, it's pointless and distracting, as is the computer voice.
