Steve, I do enjoy your stuff. As I started out to get my channel off the ground (short entirely with a smartphone you'll be happy to hear), I'd get tips from your channel quite a bit. I think it's helped me move up a level in production. I'm now at a stage where getting music right in my videos is very important to me -- I truly rely on that emotional vibe music brings. So this video is a welcome addition, and one I've watched pretty intently. I'll see how I go moving up a level there too!

hello, maybe a nice idea for a video, i sure could use a online learning video for that : how to fake and shoot a fake high speed clip of your car, using sound effects and edditing. which angles to shoot at, where to speed up footage, and other tricks. without breaking any speed limits. some wheelspin is not against the law

Hey bud! I love your video's, real easy learning and enjoyable watch mate. Off topic question to this vid... Say you are filming in 24fps but want to do a speed ramp of super slow motion... isit possible to do it without any cuts? For example... picture a football player taking a penalty. The run up is normal time 24fps but then the moment the ball is touched, the footage drops to say 120 or 240 fps kind of slow motion. Is this possible?? I have a filming idea in my head and trying to work out the technicals in my head as I cannot film it for a few weeks. 24fps with a 60fps slow3d down and made to fit a 24fps isn't really slow enough for the look I'm going for. If I need a cut, it's not a major, i just think it would look awesome going from 24fps to super slow motion all in the one clip

Another helpful video 👍I rarely have any problem knowing what music to use, my problem much like most people's I'd imagine is getting it to fit the edit. I'll usually do the bulk of the edit then find some fitting music and then do some finishing touches so the edit does match the beat here and there. But like you say, not too much or it will have less impact.
