I went to Sephora to look for this. There were some comments about sharpening it that were negative. I don’t think they understood how to use the pencil. Could you address that? Does the pencil scroll up and is the sharpener used to only make the tip more pointed? One girl had eaten into the plastic of the exterior of the container and knew she had done something wrong. I want to buy this! Your tutorials are the best makeup tutorials out there and I’ve learned so much. Would love your take on this.

What’s the difference between smudging, smoking it out, and smudging it out. You used all 3 terms. It’s confusing.

Smudging is to loosen something up before you smoke it out to get a cloud like blown out effect. So you loosen/smudge the eye eyeliner before you use the eyeshadow to smoke it out to give a softer blend. Just smudging may not give you a cloud like effect, you get that by smoking it out.
