My 1999 Mercedes has the same CD changer. This worked like a charm! I used a hammer. Don't own a gun. Took about three tries but it worked. Thanks Sergei!

I had the same problem. The CD player did not work, and I got a message on my screen saying: "No Magazine", Looking at the player in my trunk I could not eject the CD cartridge. After seeing this vid, I pushed the green button and simultaneously tapped the cartridge extra hard with my fingers. The cartridge came up. I then checked each of the CD disc holders. It was apparent the individual disc holders were sticking and none came out smoothly when I tried to pull each one out. I then pulled out and pushed in each disc holder a couple of times, and then the whole set at once. The last thing I did was turn the cartridge sideways, allowing all holders to slide in and out through gravity. When the discs slipped in and out with ease, I put the disc cartridge back in the player and turned it on inside the car. Beautiful... works perfectly again.

This just worked for me! I used an old smok alien vape machine I had, 2 taps with eject button, I had 2 cdr discs in the cartridge.

My 2001 bmw has the same CD changer and this worked great! You do need to give it a very firm punch. I was being too gentle and it would not work. Once I hit more firmly it worked!

Thanks you for this video it's works. Pressing the eject button and sticking with a solid (not hollow) screwier worked a treat. Out within seconds. Checked to if the cartage was OK and the cds and the cd slides were correctly in place. Re-inserted the cartage and change the cd would play. Again many thanks for the video to help me solve this first world problem!

I speak Russian there, check your player. Black stuff on my right hand is a gun. (joke :) You need just hold green button pushed and same time to hit (kick, knock) disc tray with something.

Thank you, it worked (with a plastic ruler). You saved my BMW repair which at least costs 500 bucks.
