I love that this came out right on time--I've been in search of basics and you're the 1st to say find a classic that suits your personal style or with a twist! One thing I've noticed is there aren't a lot of videos out there with how to locate classic pieces, what are good investments that will last years, and most importantly repeat outfit videos. Would you have any suggestions?

Hi Helen! I feel a little embarrassed that I keep leaving the same comments over and over on your videos or ig 😅but.. you look absolutely stunning in that Doen shirt dress!! I think this video actually gave me a really ah ha moment that just changed me forever (not being dramatic whatsoever)--when you said that you realized you weren't a white t shirt basic wearer.. I can't agree more!! Everyone is always going on about how they wear white t shirts to death etc etc, but it is literally the last thing I would reach for in my closet. I thought there was something wrong with me 🤣you've finally put that to rest for me. It just isn't a "basic" for ME. I really love that you've taught me that everyone's "basics" or "classic" pieces aren't necessarily a one item/size fits all. This ended up being such a long comment, but I felt so inspired to type this all out haha 🤓love you girl!

I hope you get through your rut in ideas for content. I really like your videos. Would you consider a video on how you found and continue to discover your personal style, chronicling how your style has changed over time and maybe discuss what led to it changing? Also, videos more focused on how you style specific pieces would be great. Do you ever rediscover older pieces you thought you were tired of or had sort of forgotten about? Or come up with new ways to style pieces you're used to wearing in certain ways? How do you edit your wardrobe? I also think it's interesting that for a long, long time, I had similar ways of styling where all my basics had a little extra detailing. My v-neck sweater had lace around the v. A jacket had ruffles at the back. I moved away from and stopped wearing them partly because I am trying to come off as more serious. I also took most of the more colorful pieces and nearly all patterns out. And now your video makes me sad I gave those clothes away. To be fair, I was tired of some of the older pieces and some pieces were getting a little worn. But I may add some fun back into my wardrobe again over time after seeing how you do it.

This might be weird but please what bras are you wearing under the white silk cami top and what do you wear under the black sleeveless or cami tops? it goes well. honestly if sezane or doen don't sponsor i will write them an email lol.

I have a padded white bralet. I do find that because the white version is so sheer, it can be a struggle. But the white bralet with padding seems to work well. Under the black, I just wear a bandeau/strapless bra as I don't have a black version of the bralet. Hope this helps :)
