How to Embroider a Woven Wheel Rose - Floral Hand Embroidery Tutorial for Beginners

Woven wheel stitch tutorial aka wagon wheel rose. Learn how to stitch this simple but elegant rose using the wagon wheel stitch. This embroidery tutorial is easy to follow, even for beginners.
I’m using DMC cotton embroidery floss. For the rose I used shades 353 and 948. For the French knot center I used the shade 3830.

I never cut floss longer than my arm. It prevents tangles and wearing out the fabric/floss.

Yeah, I wouldn’t really recommend doing this stitch on clothing.
