Hey there, here in the UK we have rigorous testing that we have to do on all our soft toys to ensure they meet UK standards. I'm going through that process atm, and it's sad when we put so much love into a product to then destroy it. I loved your first embroidered eye post so I'm looking forward to watching this one 😊
@thecozybuckeye5 ай бұрын
That is an unfortunate process. I can't even imagine. Thank you so much for watching and commenting!
@Raffyshooknook5 ай бұрын
@thecozybuckeye it's crazy! We have to do tension tests on 9.2kg weights to test the eyes, seams and stitches and do a flammability test if we have an unhindered area of 150mm or more...among other tests. We need to gather specific safety certificates for all products that we use that are accessible (yarn, cotton, eyes ect) but a lot of company's either don't test them before selling them, or won't allow us access to them. I've just started this profile and I'm taking my leap with my first proper post on Friday. I've watched all your videos and learned a lot from you! Thank you 😊

When I have small plushies I will use worsted weight yarn and I don't always add the sparkle. I use the same method though as using Bernat blanket yarn. I will work on a few other expressions to share. Thank you for the idea!
