Learn how to embroider letters using a back and brick stitch.
Back stitch - The backstitch is great when you need a solid line, like for certain outlines or text. Begin by pulling the needle up through the fabric and do one stitch forward. From underneath, space the needle out the length of your desired stitch, pull up through the fabric, and bring the needle and floss back down through the end of the previous stitch.
Brick stitch - Begin by pulling the needle up through the fabric and do one stitch forward. From underneath, space the needle out the length of your desired stitch, pull up through the fabric, and bring the needle and floss back down through the end of the previous stitch.
In this video I'm using all 6 strands and size 5 needle.

Great project, thanks for sharing. I, like others who have commented, would love to know what font and size this is, as I'd like to reproduce this style for my goddaugter's wedding ring pillow. Haven't seen it on your etsy site, so any pointers most welcome. What size hoop is this? Also, do you trace using carbon backed paper or an air pen, and would you have any recommendations for tracing onto vintage linen, which will be the embroidered side of the ring pillow. Thanks!
