How to enable the mouse on the Mame 0.152 Emulator

Get the Raine32 emulator, and play Operation Wolf on it. You can set the difficulty level on the Raine32 emulator.

On recent versions of Mame, mouse will already be set up for most game controls that use it for crosshair. However, you will still need to make the "mouse 1" and "lightgun 1" changes to your mame ini file.

I have the mouse enabled however after 30 seconds or so without using the mouse, the cursor appears on screen and yu can move until you click the mouse button, how do you stop this?

Nice! Thought the .INI stuff wouldn't apply to me since I'm using the new interface of MAME, but did it anyway, and found that my Mouse and Lightgun settings were also at 0. Hopefully this will fix why I wasn't able to actually shoot things in CarnEvil.

Actually in mame go to advance options just enable the mouse then set it's configs like you would any controller.

You mean by pressing the tab key when you are running the emulator?

yes start mame up then while in games list hit tab go to advance options enable mouse then set the keys up like u would any gamepad by moving the mouse this is more simple then your method and after reading many blogs i found no mention of it anywhere and had to piece it together from things i read however im not sure what version of mame u use if its old it might be different . its 132, but to activate the mouse, i saw now in other video, its on the optios>default game options>controllers> activate mouse, if i remember.. now i have to configure the inverted right-left on mouse, but thanks!!!

First thing you need to do is to locate the directory where your Mame program is in.

It is very technical in nature, you need to know some Dos commands to do it. The video was made for me as a reference, so if you can't figure it out too bad. A lot of the videos I put up on KZbin are for me.

Mame sucks. I dont have that file, I looked through options but there is no way to change it to mouse, and I CANT EVEN SHOOT TO SELECT A STAGE! All I want to do is play Jurassic park lost world...man this emulator sucks

I already went to another video about this. Gotta go to cmd right? Well that failed too. Keeps saying the path cant be found even though I read where the path is. It's on desktop and I named it mame2. I read it right out of path and it still said it couldnt find anything
