FOR THOSE WHO HAVE ASROCK INSTEAD OF HIS Here’s what to do Enter BIOS by repeatedly tapping ‘Del’ or ‘F2’ on startup of the PC. Enter the ‘Advance’ Tab. Click on "CPU Configuration": Click on "AMD fTPM Switch"( if you have the option to Enable, set it to Enable, skip to step “Got to exit lab…”.). Select ‘AMD CPU fTPM’. Go to the Exit tab and select "Save changes and exit". Upon reboot, press "Del" or "F2" to head back into BIOS. Enter the "Advanced" tab. Select "Trusted Computing". For option "Security Device Support" - Ensure it is set to ‘"Enable".

I did this everything worked correctly, but when I go to the Windows Update Page it still tells me this pc doesn’t currently meet all the system requirements despite the pc health check telling me it is.

Searched KZbin for enabling TPM, opened up like 8 videos, this was the first in that list. Was straight to the point, wasn't necessary but the info on whether it being enabled or not before opening PC Health Check was aight, and the biggest plus, you didn't record the entirety of the video on camera, just when you were in BIOS, unlike a few of the thumbnails for videos that I opened 🤣 Great video ❤

My PC has FTPM (Firmware) TPM as I have an AMD CPU and it was set to discreet. I had to take it off discreet in the BIOS and now my TPM 2.0 is enabled and my PC is ready for Windows 11. Thank you for uploading this video, big help in solving this issue thanks to Windows weird TPM requirement.

My cpu is Intel i5 4200m 2.5-3.1ghz. My question is that the pc health app says my cpu isn't supported. However, on the website it says the requirements cpu needed is "1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster with 2 or more cores on a compatible 64-bit processor or System on a Chip (SoC)." Anyone knows how to fix?

Mine did that as well, It now shows up perfectly fine at the windows update screen. It's windows update that's doing that, it's on their end, so let it go for a while and then check back later that's what I did and mine is okay now. Their is no given time frame they said it will be a different time frame for everyone.

@@MYLEESS I'm not sure which model you own.I have a X470-PLUS.Also , my motherboard is from 2020.Do you know how old your PC/motherboard is?Anyway,if I remember correctly , once you're in BIOS , there is a " Configuration/Settings " tab you click on , and from there you can enable TPM.This is a hard question to answer since every motherboard's BIOS menu can be slightly different.If i were you, i'd look up your motherboard's model menu ( then just google for the PDF file that contains the menu ) , and from there I am sure it'll tell you exactly how to enable it.Sorry I wasn't much help.

Protip: An easier way to access BIOS from the desktop is by pressing shift and clicking restart simultaneously. Then troubleshoot> advanced options> uefi firmware settings

Your tutorial did help me enable the TPM, but the Windows update service still told me my computer didn't meet the minimum requirements for Windows 11, despite the Health Check app being cleared on all categories.

Thanks and sorry to hear that, but if your system is newer then it might still work for windows 11 even though you can’t find that setting, you can run that checker tool and see if it’s compatible first

@@jamiewagner You are not alone I have the same problem. I would wait Microsoft may remove the TPM requirement for running Windows 11. Windows 10 also needs TPM, but Microsoft does not enforce it. Is running Windows 11 TPM really a requirement I don't think so. Microsoft and PC hardware manufacturers are second and third party partners, so thy are pushing you to buy their newer hardware.

Hello I wanted to make sure,if I do this will this damage my computer in any way???(as originally TPM was disabled) Also thanks so much you truly saved me,however in settings it still says it’s not meeting the requirements,I have all of them and the PC,check up app says I have all the requirements but on the update section this is not the case,please help,what should I do,also will this stop future updates?,or delete my data?

no it won't harm the PC or stop future updates or delete data, it won't hurt any of that, right now mine says exactly what yours says, in the update section mine first showed it wasn't compatible but that later changed to all green and all good, so it's on Microsoft's end for that, I still check everyday to see if windows 11 is ready to download and it still hasn't popped up. Microsoft said everyone's will be a different time frame as to when they get it. NOW you can go and download windows 11 directly and install it with a USB drive if you don't want to wait on automatic windows updates

i really appreciate it.. recently my wifi has been being weird and going out on me for days straight and my wifi adapter is FINE. i did everything and it is fine and didn't want to buy another one.. i was thinking this pc health check might be the problem.. we'll see

It sucks, my old 10 year old laptop managed windows 11, and i loved it. My newly built PC (novmeebr 2023) wont. It's telling me I need Secure Boost, and TPM 2.0. I've tried to add TPM, and cannot get it activated. And i cannot figure out to how to do secure boost. Microsoft should truly put a workaround, or a better explained walkthrough. because I hate windows 10, and W11 was 100x better cleaner and smoother. At least thats how it was on my 10yo Laptop.

So for myself, TPM was enabled but because my core isolation was off for some reason, i wasn’t able to run TPM 🤷‍♂️ works now ig

Does running Windows 11 really require TPM? Microsoft, AMD, Intel and Motherboard makes are pushing you to upgrade your system. In my bios there is no TPM enable disable, and runs windows 10. I'm not buying Computer hardware that say windows 11 ready. What is Windows 11?

honestly I feel like we have no choice after so long and we have to upgrade, but if I was you I would try and buy a new system with windows 11, because their only gonna keep updating stuff and eventually you will need a new system

Type Trusted computing password into google and research what it says to do based on your situation. I can't tell you exactly what to do because I don't know exactly what you're seeing when you click on it and it's asking for password so you will have to research your current situation. You might have to reset the password and there's a process for that, but you have to research it on Google on how to do it. I do apologize. I don't have a video, showing how to do it because everybody's situation might be different and I can't just make one video to show how to do it for everyone and sometimes the actual user is you type in the word (Admin) and the password is sometimes the word password so you would type the word (password)

So I followed this an mine is ASROCK not msi an followed mine to security and device support an mine was already Enabled but changed it to disabled but regardless what it was on it’s still showing on the TPM.msc that same message as before

if your PC is newer and that ASROCL board is newer then it probably has TPM 2.0

I am confused why mine is missing a tpm file entirely. It’s a 3yr old pc build that I bought from an Uber tech neighbor. I’m running a ryzen processor and gigabyte motherboard. It tells me under security in bios that no security device found.

if your PC is compatible you can just go to Microsoft's website and start the process manually if you want. It's something like windows 11 assistant or something like that. You have to look for it on the page under windows 11 downloads, I would share the page but they always update stuff

This still didn't work. It's enabled in my BIOS, I have done the registry bypass, all the restarts, but in the tpm.msc, it still cannot be found. :(

wow that's strange you would think it would show up, unless it's just not available for your system, It might be because of your motherboard. It needs to be compatible and newer

that's probably because Microsoft said they were rolling this out to everyone and it would not be available to everyone right away so check you windows updates like go in and click windows updates and see if it is showing anything in there about it

mine is very different from yours unfortunately, when i click security in the UEFI BIOS it only shows administrator password or user password, not sure what else to do.

you could try and reset your bios to factory settings? but if someone put a pass word on it you might have to use more advanced methods like clearing your bios or flashing it

the windows security updates did the same thing to me and then after a while it changed automatically, it's on their end, so I'm sure your system is compatible if the health check says so. You will need to wait for windows updates to be ready for your system, or you could go and download the media yourself and install windows 11 whenever you want.

Yours might have a default one, check your owner manual and see if it has a default one so you can get passed that or make sure it’s not actually trying to get you to set up a password

All mine said in Bios was device support enable. It didn’t give me a PTT option so I couldn’t change anything

Didn't work for me at all, I did exactly as you did, got all the same views and even when I hit the X button same pop up message, then my pc restarted but instead told me that the system didn't boot properly and now shows me this automatic repair screen.... tad frustrating
