There are not enough words in the English language to describe how thankful I am for you and how much you have taught me these past few years. I used to be someone who struggled with the idea of spending time alone and constantly needed validation from others but after watching you're videos for the past three years I have learnt that there's no better company than my own and through spending time alone I have learnt so much about myself that I never knew before. And while sometimes I still find myself wanting validation from those around me, I'm starting to understand the importance of validating myself 💌

Seeing the care and effort you put into the pot and how you were using the clay adding it at the right time reminds me of how God does the same thing for us humans. Taking His time and effort with us as He molds us into all that He made us to be ✨❤️ Isaiah 64:8

So glad you’re finding joy in spending time alone! Alone time really is so important for people in their 20s because you can really make it what you want/need. You learn so much about yourself and what you need in life. Plus it’s always great to check in with and in yourself. As you get older and into your 30s and 40s, alone time looks drastically different. You end up with partners and/or children, your parents get older and you find them needing you present more, you take on more responsibilities at work, etc. and suddenly you don’t have as much time to spend with and on yourself, and even if you have time, you don’t always have the quality. You’ll miss the days when you had seemingly infinite time to do any and everything you want. into yourself is always vital and the sooner we do it, the better we are (for ourselves and for our loved ones) in the long run.

i looooove going to the movies by myself, grabbing my favorite drink, some snacks… i mean- i have the time of my life doing it!! feels so good to be ok about being alone. i absolutely adore my own company and this is life changing honestly. i also love spending time with my friends which is something i put a lot of effort in while being in a romantic relationship. my boyfriend just doesn’t take away any of my social battery which makes it so much easier to be around him all the time. but knowing you are your own person is the key. i do spend a lot of time with him, but i never ever ever let myself forget to do things for me. alone time is so precious and also being with people who bring out a good version of you!

Noooo cap. Being comfortable with yourself enough to be alone is such a vibe. It can be so scary for some people but you have to learn at one point how to deal with it for long periods of time sometimes, because there's going to be points in your life where you don't have people around you / near you all the time ( not saying they've died or something but maybe they moved or are super busy ). ❤

Without ample time alone we can't create. At my most sociable, I didn't write one song because life was a constant whirl of activity. For other people it'll be writing, painting or reading, but they generally boil down to the same thing: to expand our minds and create we need time to ourselves.
