"C" "00" - that's Channel no 00. When there's no "C" on the left one, it means that you are currently watching channel valie.

hello, would this work with a B7 A4? The ECON button keeps randomly engaging, stopping the AC...very frustrating (and hot) problem. Any ideas on the problem?

Most likely there's something wrong in your AC system that the control unit is detecting. It shuts down the compressor to avoid damaging it. If you scan your car with diagnostic tool you should find fault code in the AC module that should point you into right direction.

Help. My Audi temp tire doesn't go low as 64 but I'm trying to turn the ac on but have no clue how. I have the 2001 a6 Audi any idea what can help. Everything in the vehicle works fine no engine light no problem at all. The ac disturbs me the most

Alejandro Ruiz I'm not sure on other Audi's as I'm unfamiliar with them, but this particular gen (c5) always has the ac compressor on continuously, unless you turn the air off . There's no ac button, so if you put the cars temp down to low, and do not hear any noise of the compressor being on, then that's your problem

Simply turn the temperature display down to the temp you want. The car will use the AC or the heat to reach any temp you pick. Also you can turn off the AC compressor in a C5 A6. Press the "Econ" button the one in the middle left and regardless of where the temp is set the AC won't run.

I had the same problem on Q7 2007 and it was the sun roof drain plugs. It even damaged my Aplifier. Got it fixed after watching a you tube video. Apparently, it's a known issue on Audi & VW

can anyone help ? My 2001 A6 AWD . I have popped the hood/bonnet but the rubber tag that poke thru the logo is not there to release the hood fully. I had some work done on it last week and the mechanic has messed up.....They are not in until monday and I need to change dead battery so I can drive today...HELP PLEASE ..Thanks .

Каналы - нужно искать расшифровку под свою машину. Штука полезная можно прочитать что видит клима по датяикам - не клинят ли заслонки ну и как сказано видно температуру наружного воздуха состояние кондея - температурные датчики в салоне - скорость обороты двигателя - работу догревателя ОЖ если он есть тоже видно - вобщем ползеная штука в диагностике климы да и периодчиески посмотреть как и что тоже не мешает. На моей 60 с чем то параметров часть каналов диагностические и коды тоже свои - короче распечатка страниц на 15 катается в машине - помогла до зимы обнаружить на дизеле отвал свечей в догревателе ОЖ на входе в печку - глючный датчик температуры перед радиатором - видно забитый фильтр салонный - утечку фреона тоже так же поймал - сразу на первом же канале диагностика. Ищущий да найдет - где то на ауди форуме выкладывали по многим машинам

Have you seen that most cars with dual (or more) zone clima have always set the same temperature for each seat? In commercial presentations or in pictures of used cars, it's usually (almost everytime) so. Isn't it the best proof of a useless equipment? And I don't wonder cause passengers sit several inches from each other in the same space and in the same weather (and the car changes its direction to the sun etc.). It's funny and stupid :-D

+Vinny Buffone when having trouble with air vent flaps, AC compressor or instrument cluster readouts, you can check in this hidden menu values from ECU (same as with OBD2 diagnostic interface). Thanks to that you can verify if e.g. vehicle speed sensor is faulty or your speedometer is broken. Same with tachometer, temperature display... Also if you AC compressor is not working you can check why (low oil, temperature too high, pressure too high or too low...). As a diagnostic tool this menu can be very useful once you know how to use it.
