holy shit, this is useful even when it's not flooded, giants have a tendency to walk near the valley and block the exit. I am definitely gonna use this.

Ah, that's because giant AI is set to camp where it last saw someone, which is why they either camp exits or the ship usually, the valley is just really good at limiting the roam area.

Part of the next update Zeekerss is putting out includes changing how slopes work. Essentially going up a slope will give you a marginal speed decrease, whilst going down will give the opposite effect. While I can easily see this potentially fixing the Dine fire exit slope jump, I wonder if this jump will end up fixed in the process.

Something that works with all flooded Fireexits is a jetpack. It works underwater so fly upwards. Water does not break your fall. v49

i don't think it's possible to do this before you drown. It takes 11 to 12 jumps to get above water level level, that alone takes too long. Maybe with perfect placement and timing though
