(not host or they get soft locked) grab a heavy item, settings, display mode - window. Right click on the white bar at the top of your screen, press G three times, then press Esc (escape) and discard. If it worked, the item should have been dropped.

Interesting. Seems like the cupboard has more oddities than I thought when interacting with items. For example, the mask items don't behave correctly if you place them in the cupboard while you are holding the left mouse button. This also causes items to be closer to your face as well.

Also, there is a bug very similar to this, but when one is using walkie talkies. Happend to me 3-4 times, but I am 100% certain that it didn't have to do anything with placing items it cupboard, since it happend twice outside of the ship. It might be that items that have [Left Click] as their secondary function get to glitch out when interacting with [E], while both keys are simulteneously pressed in certain circumstances, but I can't confirm it.

There is one with the stun gun, if they start emoting right before you stun them, and then you just keep stunning them (I think I might have gotten the process wrong) they just keep gaining speed to the point they will clip out of existence and all they see is an image of some sort of bridge or something, looks like a google maps street view thing almost.

Pretty sure the skybox for all of the maps is just that, something from Google Maps. There's a video of someone flying on top of the company building with the jetpack and you can see something similar up there.

[UPDATE] With the new v47 beta update, the ladder glitch has been patched, the cause of the glitch itself was something to do with the Ship Build Manager code not working as intended which has now been updated to properly work. As far as the speedruns go, people will likely stick to this version. Use the ladder glitch to mess around and have fun in public lobbies while you still have the chance :)

I find that single handed items are a lot more likely to do that, so I just stick to 2-handed items for doing it now. The process being: Pick up big item > Macro to drop that single big item > Pick up big item

You can't do it if you're host or this will always happen, though it can happen occasionally as not-host too. The only way to fix the softlock is to leave and rejoin the game.

You need to have it press drop 2 times quickly. Lower FPS helps the success rate. Also cannot be host. AHK/ iCue / Razer's software are some that I know work

This is the newest update. Get a macro to do G twice in a row with no delay. Make sure you aren't host. The lower the fps, the more consistent.

It still works. The timing is tight and you can't* be host. If your weight is 0 when picking the item you did the glitch with then you'll know it worked

How's 0:48 done? So far, i've only consistently been able to replicate the teleport negative weight glitch, but that one requires the investment of a teleporter. The one with a macro tricking the game to think you double dropped stuff didn't work for me ever, i tried macro software, autohotkey, capping FPS and spamming G+mousewheel but to no avail

I've found since making this video that the scroll wheel isn't necessary. Also note the higher the FPS, the less likely you are to succeed. 30/60 FPS for a short time will help the consistency a lot. Anyways I tested this in AHK it does fine for me: p:: send g send g

I'm on version v49 and I can hit almost consistently the bug with G + Scrollwheel at the same time (no macro needed but 30 FPS way easier). A macro with G + G at 1 ms interval didn't work for me though
