I've been a voice agent for many years, taking escalation calls for half the duration. But when I took a job as chat support, I was not mentally ready. Yes, the standard is high, and it's very fast paced. I thought I could get a breather in chat but nope, especially if you are to report directly to the client. Days in training are like torture. "It brings out the best and the worst in you". Though it depends on the account but this guide surely helps. 😊

Hello Kwestyon! I just got the Job offer from TP and it is all because of your amazing tips. At first, I wasn't able to make it for the banking account but after the second try, I was able to get the job offer for the telco account. I am really struggling with mock calls and interview questions given that I am not proficient enough in English and no experience at all. Chat is definitely not easier than phone. I guess it depends on many things, but at my last call center I would rather attend voice calls over having FOUR karens texting me at the same time.

Hi Candace! Or Ms. Kwestyon! I would like to ask why other centers are preventing their agents to have a closing spiel to kindly stay for just a quick survey that I rendered for you today. If it's alright to ask, why is it considered as pishing? I'm not sure if they called it that way. But I'm just really curious because that might help as well to get more CSAT if they stay for the survey because other customer is not staying and just immediately closing the chat after the service. Thank you. No hate please. If you have criticism on my grammar o how I deliver it, please make it constructive critcism everyone. Thanks again! Hehe.

I wouldn't call it phishing but my guess is companies consider it a little unprofessional. Like you're influencing the customers to rate you out of self-interest instead of them doing it out of their own volition. It might also not reflect their actual feelings about the service when they know you're aware of the survey. Just a guess. The company i used to work for also doesn't allow it.
