Love the channel...same principal for all construction. Being a builder , pay well, have benefits, good incentives, bonuses...gotta have good tools ,not a bunch of broken shit. ....work harder then anyone else. Take All jobs ,big or small..Do the work that others won't do and you'll be first in line to get the big paying jobs....you have to sacrifice to reap the rewards. .....Most people aren't willing to feel the pain to get the payday .they just want the payday.....its all about the Pain..

Just found your channel and subscribed. I started my trucking business journey in Jan of 2019 with two mack trucks I had left over from a failed pool excavation business. With no idea what to do with my equipment I had one driver haul dirt with a local dispatcher and I had to work the oil rigs to come up with the rest of the money for my other equipment payments. I finally got a 2nd driver half way through the year and picked up more work. I kept working oil rigs and working my business on my time off. I now have 5 mack granites and it's only been a year. I'm excited to see where I can take this new business. My next venture is manufacturing dump boxes. Keep making good content! I will start to do the same. Thank you for sharing your knowledge

you have some good advice on this one, BUT like you said" how much pain and sacrifice are you willing to go threw"( to add more trucks) for me personally i say 0 , but to each his own but your right there will be sacrifice, and part of the big sacrifice is TIME , if you feel like you have unlimited time to spend expanding and then running a empire then more power to ya, but i been at it 29 years, my way is i make $ enough to live how i like and then i enjoy that life, the older i get the more i can see how short our time is on earth and how quick it goes by- so striving to get ahead and pushing just to make more $ just aint worth it to me personally,BUT when your at a place in life where a person feels that they need more $ to even survive then i guess that person needs to push forward to get where they want to in their level of success,i don't feel like i've arrived but actually at a better place than that where im seriously content with my income, and dont strive to make more $ , im a real trucker at heart !3rd generation and love what i do and my videos show that,i have to be a business man and a mechanic because thats part of the trucking life @ least for me at my income level,but trucking is the enjoyable part for me- managing employees and dealing with all the BS of running a mini EMPIRE nope! but 2 each his own. all good;) what u say?

thanks for the heart and liking my comment, i really do respect you as a young enterprise and you have great advise for guys wanting to expand, you did it my way with one truck for a few years,and you desired to build a mini trucking company and plan to continue,more power to you and anyone who wants to follow your plan and go big, i like to keep it simple and just make my own $ doing the driving part -thats the enjoyable part to me as a trucker,you i guess like the business side of running a company and growing it ,thats probably how i differ most from you,but to each his own, my advice to any man seeking to build a successful business is to make sure that they take care of them-self health wise,its not easy running a business when your sick,tired,hurting,and etc.also make sure to appreciate those helping you in your success-ie wifey in your case make sure shes getting enough of you -the loving side of you or you'll be screwing yourself someday, and our kids -if we succeed at building a empire and our children think we're a Ahole pricks when they grow up then in my book i failed in the game of life,so thats the way i like to roll- just keep on truckin!

Justin I just became a dump truck driver could you do a video on weight capacity of dump truck, I’m not sure if me hauling 19/20 ton on a 3 axle dump truck. The unloaded weight of the truck is 27,300. I don’t want to have issues with the dot. I’m hauling 2"crush stone.
