I have a hard time believing that. Justin is a business man and knows what he is doing. You can buy a hot cup of coffee, put it your lap, drive away and "sue" because you got burnt.

Justin, I don't know the dump truck business but is there any safety courses provided by third parties that you could send employees too? I know in the oilfield, safety meetings and outside safety courses = insurance discounts.

I agree 101% about things that have gone up in price. NONE of the price increases are related to anything in the market. NOT related to cost of living which was supposed to be 8.8% according to the Government (LOL) but the reality is obvious, everything is two to five times higher than it was last year. None of the things that have price increases make any sense to another such as pork vs. beef. Pork is still about the same price it has been yet beef has doubled or tripled. So, what is making the beef more expensive if the excuse is "inflation", diesel? That can't be true because pork is still priced about as it was. Other foods have gone way up while some have not...makes no sense. Fuel is a complete rip off and now electricity and natrual gas is getting on the bandwagon to rip off society. Is it the Green New Deal? What is it? Many folks are suggesting that it is GREED. Back with COVID the lumber industry raised their prices with the excuse of labor shortages. Then other building materials climbed on board even though no one was buying any products at the same time which means prices should have reduced not increased. Restaurants are also ripping into customers pockets...menu prices are about three times what they were. What's worse, all of the monopoly businesses are the most damaging such as utilitiy companies, fuels, food, insurance etc. It's all coming from one source some say, the white house and congress.

I'll say this much, the enemy is the state insurance commissioners. They let these companies run an insurance business opposite of what principles of insurance is all about. When a driver has an at fault loss, it should not change rates until the number of losses mount up or driving records do the same. Other than that, one loss for a lot or a little of money paid out should not have anything to do with a renewal next year. Insurance is not about one individual or one company, its about the entire book of business and when there are losses to pay, the entire book of business bears to expense, not the one company ! The losses of the few is beared by the many...thats how insurance is supposed to function but for some reason, the states have allowed insurance to raise premiums over things they shouldn't. Most companies today are doing this and its hurting society. The rules are too tight thats for sure...no leeway especially when you are dealing with people who drive for a living 40 to 50 hours a week full time and in more risky conditions. Can't there be some leniency? Those in the commissioners office are a waste of money.
