Hi Charles. Love your videos, I find them all very easy to understand over other videos that I see online. I was just wondering if I bounce a finished song and save as a wav or mp3, does this also save any bus effects too? I always found that whenever I used bus effects and exported a song, it never saved the effects so I have always just inserted effects instead which is probably the wrong or long way of doing things. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks for this video, really helpful. Question: If I want the mixing engineer to have a idea of the kind of effects I want in the project and I sent it to him with the effect plugins, will the mixing engineer be able to add, remove or alter the stems if I sent them without by-passing the effect plugins?

hey lloba, if you bypass the effects then the engineer will have full flexibility to treat the signal. If you don’t then they won’t be able to.

when I export my song with normalize off the song is so quiet compared to when I listen to it in logic. Tried boosting the output volume but that makes the audio choppy when loud parts come in. Any solutions?

what if you have a speed change? I tried bouncing it then reporting it and airdropping it to my phone and the speed changes never show up. the song stays slowed down.

Think of exporting as 1 track at a time. Think of bouncing the entire track or stems.

well, you can export it as .wav but if you want to share a logic pro file then you would need to share the entire project which you can find in your mac finder window.. Logic pro is literally ass every other daw makes It completely easy to make things happen. Logic has to be so fucking difficult with everything.
