While assigning columns, u had assigned all at its CG ..! Actually it's not like that na..if columns will be flushed at any of face then it shall not be at CG location, while assigning..as it will give different results in modal mass participation..due to change in CG & CR. I guess shall be location with offset command. Pls comment

No, the mathematical model should be as simplified as possible.... the variation in the result will not be much high... in simple structure it is possible to consider those shifts giving rigid link but is complicated structure it will increase the chance of error... Do not consider your mathematical model as the real structure.

Assumptions need to be made here also using our engineering judgement as we do in the manual calculations.

@@ilustraca ok..thnx U mean to say though high rise, we can put columns at CG locations. In case of walls this will not be a problem, as it starts from face itself. Just guide me, while giving walls, if suppose in wall 2 3 point loads from right angle, then wall is to be modeled in pieces or straight end to end. Pls guide.

How about the shearwall, when i export my file to rcdc, the shearwall is not read by rcdc though beams and columns are ok but shearwall is not showing. Would you please show me some settings regarding shearwall.

In that case do not mesh the shear wall manually... mesh it with Auto rectangular mesh...

Which is your Microsoft Office Version (2003, 2007, 2013, 2016, 2019 or 2021) installed in your system/laptop. Because i'm using ETABS v19.1.0, RCDC v10.0.0 & Microsoft Office version is 2016, when i try to create .mdb file, it gets created. But when i try to import the .mdb file in RCDC v10.0.0 it gives a error message as "unable to read analysis result". Hence i want to know your installed Microsoft Office Version??? Thanks...
