To preserve color on web exports, use H.264 - Match Source Adaptive Bitrate, 40-60mbps for 4k, 8-12mbps for 1080p, check the box under Video Tab, "Render at Maximum Depth" and select VBR 2-pass for optimal quality.

I am a hard core Resolve Studio editor, but after seeing your tutes on Premiere, really feel like switching over to Premiere Pro. Your tutorials are quite simply brilliant!!! Voice and diction are so clear, evident mastery over the software. I live in India, but wished I could come over to the US just to meet you!!!!

this video is beyond helpful! I have been dabbling in Premiere Pro for a bit with e-learning content for work and some simple videos for my band and your channel is the main source of info from which I glean. I recently found myself tinkering with a lot of the export stuff having no idea what the differences were just noticing the file size changing and thought, "it would be great if there was a video on export settings." That was just last weekend lol so very well done being a psychic.

Another great video. Thanks. BTW, at 28:00, the "/" symbol is a "slash", not a "back slash". Think of "slash" as the thing you would write by hand if you wrote out a fraction (e.g. "3/4"). The "back slash" symbol slants the other way ("\").

One thing to note. If, for example, you want to export a video at a maximum file size of 5MB, you calculate it to be 5MB and Premiere says it will be 5MB, but it ends up being a lot larger, then you need to make sure Metadata is set to 'None'.

I knew everything you spoke about except now... I understand it. I have a question? I shoot in 4K but always use a 2.7K timeline and export in 2.7 as well. So if you can tell me, do I need to check Maximum Render Quality. Not sure if it would apply to your rule of "different resolutions" you spoke of. excellent lesson. Thank You.

Really surprised you are still using 1080p. I would have expected you to be an early adopter of 4K
@PremiereGal3 жыл бұрын
Trust me, I was. But after trying it. it's much slower to edit cause of proxies and it eats up space. I'd say everyone here benefits from my content in 1080p on KZbin. 4k just isn't necessary for my online content, unless I was thinking of making a feature theatrical film, or tv commercial, maybe then I'd even use 8k. Depends on the product and final destination.

Could you explain the situation? Are you trying to change the composition frame rate? For example 24fps to 30fps? If you click on the three lined menu icon next to your comp name in Ae, you will be able to select the "Composition settings" and change the frame rate there.

What should my export timeline expectations be when I’m exporting a 35 minute video? When I upload, it basically says Processing SD for about 30 minutes, HD currently for over 14 hours, and then it will eventually say 4K. It just kind of blows my mind that it always seems to take so long to get a 4K video uploaded. The funnier thing is that I can type in the blue link hypertext into a separate browser window view my video on KZbin privately, but for whatever reason it says processing for 14 hours so far. What are your professional experiences like? I don’t think I have ever heard of anyone covering this topic in 3-4 years of watching KZbin creator content. I have watched your video twice on settings, but no reference to how long I should be patient for / expectations. Lots of variables I’m sure, but can you share from a 1080p perspective, and a 4K perspective? Can I get the answer while I’m sitting around uploading, but maybe you decide to make a video on it later? For reference: Custom built computer with a 3080 processor (great), 128 MB of Ram spread out over 4 Ram memory cards, great internet with about 940 Mbps upload and download speed. Video footage saved on an external 10 TB Hard drive connected to my network. Cat 5e and Cat 6 cabling. Not using WiFi or any wireless stuff to transfer or upload anything. The question: When I’m uploading a video, I use the Queue function on Premier Pro Creative Cloud to Media Encoder. How long should I expect this uploading process to take to KZbin for 4K KZbin uploading? 40 Mbps target bitrate, VBR, 1 Pass, 10.1GB file size, and I believe I was on hardware encoding (for my 3080 processor.)
