Thanks for this informative stream Oliver. I have related question, I want take a decent quality portable microscope on travel to examine microbial life in situ. looking online, I haven't found any good comprehensive resources on filed-microscopes. Would you consider making a video on the topic? What are filed-microscopes, their history, how they are different/similar to bench top microscopes, what's available, price categories and what to look for when buying one etc would be very helpful. It's only logical to want to take amateur microscopy on the road! Cheers.
