I don't understand what I'm doing wrong, I set up everything exactly how the instructions say and how you did it in the video but my game still says "There are no devices connected"

A few people have said this. I’m not sure why. The phone is connected to the same WiFi router? That’s the only thing I can think of. Sorry.

Just googled and sadly your device maybe to old “As of December 12, 2023, the app officially supports the iPhone 15 series, as well as all iPhone 12 models and newer. The app also works with the iPhone 11 and some”

Does this only replicate facial expressions or also replicate your face?

Only the face expression. Maybe one day they can have it to replicate faces.
