I was in a difficult marriage. I prayed and prayed that God would show my husband how difficult and wrong he was. I “stuck it out” and now, eight years later, God has shown BOTH of us how wrong we were and-by praying together and lots of spiritual reading-our marriage is the best it has ever been.

Today I find out if I am hired at a Catholic school to teach theology. This a career change for me. I am currently at the prayer spot that I called out for this back in may 2023. Even if this is not his will I am trying to remind myself that it's a process. What you said about adventure, that hit so hard. I been cancelled from a prison and learned a lot from it. Overall I learned that white martyrdom is truly what I should be aiming for.

Should a middle class Catholic abandon his life and attempt to live like Saint Paul so as to purge his attachments? I’m going to assume no. So how can we understand the appropriate Christian suffering praxis in the modern day? Still looking for that kind of insight
