Question: What if there are multiple stickies with similar ideas? Do you cluster them, or perhaps have the group cluster them first?
@valarie3984Ай бұрын
Question: After completing the idea generation activity.. how do you address duplicated ideas before voting. In the past we talked through the ideas.. removed duplicates and categorized. BUT to your point- that takes up a lot of time. So with your approach, I was wondering how do you remove duplicate ideas prior to voting. BTW: this is awesome.

Hi :) Do you find that there can be valuable context missing to understand the value of the individual ideas to be voted on by not discussing the stickies? Do you ever combine this method, but with opportunity for a bit of explanation around the sticky point?

Who do i do these workshop for? Where do I find them?
@aisamaevicedo16323 жыл бұрын
Hello! Ive been watching your videos for a couple of years now and theyve been an incredible source of learning for someone who’s transitioning into UX. Just a question on facilitating workshops, what happens when a couple or more ideas mean the same thing? How do you conclude a “winning” or top vote when that situation happens. Thanks and hope youll upload more videos soon :)
@AJSmart3 жыл бұрын
Hey Aisa Mae Vicedo! That's a great question. Duplicates or ideas that mean the same are very common in Note & Vote workshops. The way that we deal with it, is that the facilitator takes all the duplicates that mean the same thing and puts them on top of each other before the voting starts so that they just represent one idea. This way they'd have a greater chance to gather more votes on just one sticky note instead of having several sticky notes with just one vote each, which would lead to them being at the bottom of the pyramid and ultimately getting discarded. Hope this was helpful. Cheers

Hi i wanted to start in the area, got some portfolio, but i actually have some pretty visible tattoos, does having those gets in the way of getting a job in ux design?
@AJSmart3 жыл бұрын
Hey Mario Roberto! thanks for your question. In our experience, working here in Berlin, having visible tattoos doesn't get in the way of someone getting a UX job. Things like your experience, your portfolio and your work are more important here. However the perception of tattoos varies depending on the country you would like to work. Hope this doesn't interfere with your job search. Good luck!
