This gave me a good laugh today. I used to cut hair in a salon and spa, with a very relaxing atmosphere. Guys would always fall asleep all the time and it made me so nervous. This gave me flashbacks, but great to see how you were able to handle it.

Nice blend! Don't rush your client appreciated it and they do notice of you rush and get them out! Sometimes if I have a Client that's falling asleep during the line up, I'll put the head rest up and tilt recline the chair a little, so you can use the razor without the nodding.

Ricardo, I really enjoyed watching this video! You are a master barber...an expert at what you do, in my eyes. I am an aspiring cosmetologist, beginning school this month. However, barbering has always been my hidden passion. I mean, I'm almost second guessing this cosmetology thing because my heart is still steadfast on barbering. I'm so eager about it. It just feels right for me. The only thing is, we have way more cosmetology schools where I live than we do barber schools. Actually, I don't know of any barber school here in my city. So, this is really why I'm doing the cosmetology thing because that filed teaches an array of skills, including a little barbering. Anyway, I just wanted you to how I greatly appreciate your gift, quality, and professionalism. Your camera quality was on point too!

question... in the beginning you said 2 guard closed is a 2 ...but 2 guard open wouldn't that be a 3? not a 2 and a half because the andis master opened without any guard is a 1..in other words a 2 and a half would be a 2 guard opened in the middle not all the way opened. I thought the wahl 5 star seniors opened is a half because that blade opened is considered a half blade. and it cuts closer than the regular taper blade on the andis master.. correct or am I totally wrong? Thanks
@kikado3
@kikado3 9 жыл бұрын
+Matthew Leal it's proper term would be a 2 and a half. Although you are correct as it's basically cutting a 3 when open. It's just the terminology behind it. While open in actually it's cutting just a bit shorter than a 3. Any blade fully open is called a half blade but can be a range of different cutting lengths. Great question
