THANK YOU! I was planning on trying to "clone" myself this evening, for a party meeting. You just beat down my learning curve tremendously! I've used a 5 minute video, pertaining to hand washing, as my virtual background. I also taped over my camera, so I could stay in front of the computer and continue the conversation and watch everybody's reaction. It made the whole zoom drinking party silent as they were either watching it or trying to figure out how it was done. I use iMac and did simple editing with Quicktime to cut out the beginning and end parts. But, will look at Kapwing.com as it appears to have many more capabilities.

An even easier and faster tutorial for trimming the black of your video, if you have a Mac: 1. Open the video in Quicktime 2. Press Command+T. This will open up trimming tools to allow you to trim your video. 3. Trim the black from the beginning

I suggest is to stitch two of the same video one playing on normal, next is playing on reverse, that way the loop would be seamless.

That's really cool! And maybe if you record the video already using a virtual background the viewer will be even less likely to suspect you were a virtual background all along. Then when you change back into the original virtual background and your double disappears you can say it was the lag and the background was just refreshing xD

Dude..you could have just used the easy trim option when the video window pops up in Finder. Personally I like to refrain from using third party editing tools like that one. Or you could have used QuickTime Player or iMovie but the trim button is just so easy, literally one click...

If anyone wants to make it more convincing then First make a lot of videos, i suggest at least 3 videos at minimum (4 minutes per videos at minimum) and 1 video about you go off camera to make the process of changing the background more easily (removing the background) Second Remember to Cover up your camera when having that kind of background
