This is my everyday go-to look. Spf, tinted moisturizer, a dab of blush and simple two shade eyeshadow - out the door in 10 minutes! I rarely get blemishes, but thanks for the tip for using a heavier foundation to spot correct - especially sunspots...cause I'm old. LOL!

Thanks for all the tips & tricks. That Kosas tinted oil is gorgeous on your skin! Gonna need to try that at some point. Recently I’ve been enjoying the combination of Colourpop Pretty Fresh tinted moisturizer (note: not for those who avoid silicones) and Drunk Elephant D Bronzi Serum. And I, too, love the effect of cream cheek products. The Milk bronzer is just so great!

Beautiful, Elle! Thank you for sharing ❤ I also have dry, dehydrated skin. Learnt so much about my skin type from you. Glowing skin all the way! I use a DIY tinted moisturiser mixed in with face oil and then a pot concealer instead of a full coverage foundation (because I'm too lazy to pull it out of my stash. Lol!). I love cream blush and highlighter especially in the winter time. Been using lipstick as blush lately 😁 the layering technique is genius! Can't wait to try it x

Elle!!! This is gorgeous!! I have been so much loving cream and liquid products lately. I have dry and dehydrated skin, and they just look so much better sometimes than powders. (Although all hourglass always looks amazing, all the time!) I would love to see any and all cream videos you would want. I love the hack you gave us about mixing a powder with a primer like the Tatcha primer and making your own cream eye shadow or blush. I've saved so much money on eye shadows with that trick! ♥️ #ellesquad ♥️

Instead of using the all-over baked powder. Can I use The Hourglass little powder that you were telling us about? I purchased it. And I know you mentioned that we could use it all over the face. Could I use it at this point or would that be too much? I also purchased the color pop in wisp, As well as the Milani Face tent And I love them both! Thank you so much Elle for the advice.

Thanks so much for sharing this one with us! I recently have been on the hunt for a nice tinted moisturizer that will work nicely on my dry skin. I was looking into the colourpop one bc looked rather gowgeous dahling, but the silicone .... Uggh! Am really not a fan --- my skin gets clogged Soo easily. So probably gna snatch up the bareminerals tinted gel. Have been really wanting to try the kosas for a while now as well, but nervous about the oil aspect of it congesting my skin! (Main concern is some milia on the cheek area) I LOVE me some highlighter, but usually brings out the milia moreso, which is sooo very sad for my soul! 💔 Looking for a nice natural-ish cream bronzer for my light skin, bc with the powder kind plus the dry skin, isn't always a good mix! This looks stunning on you though 😍👌 xx ❤️

I understand that and thank you. It is more about technique and tips rather then products. I am sure you have a tinted moisturizer, a full coverage foundation and a powder xo
@nikkipieronek2714 жыл бұрын
You can mix your foundation with a bit of moisturizer or a few drops of your oil to make your own cc cream/tinted moisturizer. 😉 There are also plenty of drugstore cream or stick formula blushes/bronzer and highlighters.
@kamloopscruiser8744 жыл бұрын
Ann Kaminski try the Revlon Candid foundation concealer & powder. It’s very light and skin like. Those will give a light coverage, light to medium concealer & a super light powder. And the price is good, better on a sale of course and much cheaper than Sephora brands. Revlon also makes a good dupe of Estée Lauder Double Wear for a heavier coverage product in the ColorStay line. I put Candid foundation on while my skin is still damp with a layer of spf moisturizer and sheer it out. That almost turns into a tinted moisturizer effect. I often use Australian Gold tinted SPF 50 mineral sunscreen for the face. It’s drugstore, it plays well with everything I put on it, and it doesn’t irritate my skin. If it feels drying, use a drop of The Ordinary Squalane oil under the SPF. I think Candid would work as Elle shows. I’ve used sponge, brush and fingers to apply the foundation and concealer and it works well all ways. I dab the concealer wherever I need and blend that in. Let it set up a little & fluff the powder on. Before the powder (that Candid is pretty close to Hourglass finishing powder which I also have- near dupe!) Assess if you need more coverage and just dab a little more foundation on. The Candid will layer nicely. Or you could add ColorStay like Elle showed with the Anastasia BH one. Powder is almost not necessary with the Candid foundation. It sets up to a satiny skin like finish. I just hit the T zone and underneath my eyes to set the concealer there. I can vouch for the concealer as well. Nice & light. Slightly creasey but fluff on some powder after smoothing it out, it behaves after that. I use MAC Fix Plus spray occasionally if I want extra dewiness but Candid has a nice glow on its own. I think there’s a good setting spray by ELF or maybe Wet N Wild. Drugstore has really improved lately. ELF BB cream is another great light coverage option for even less. Check out Zabreena and Jen Phelps both do a lot of good dupe videos for high end products. Jessica Braun too. Those 3 don’t turn up their noses at drugstore and they are honest about what really works well & what to stay away from! Dr Dray is great for skincare at the drugstore. Elle uses a lot of products that she enjoys and fit her budget and cruelty free ethos but as she points out it’s the technique not the product that she’s explaining. I follow along substituting what I have on hand that looks similar and basically borrow her techniques, bend em to fit what I like and can afford.

Not that you want my input but I stumbled upon a few new cream/gel products at Target the other day including the Maybelline Cheek Heat blush which is a gel and is VERY similar to my favorite stupid expensive Chantecaille. I also found a cool stick gel bronzer from a new to me product line called Undone (also at Le target)and it’s beautiful! They also had cream blushes that I’m eager to try.
