THANK YOU. i dont know why doing a tutorial with your hands while explaining before actually showing the trick helped me so much more than just seeing the trick in slow motion, but it really helped. i wish people explained tricks like this more. i’m excited now

Great breakdown! Thanks for the tips, Ben. I can do regular rock to fakie pretty good, so I can't wait to push myself a bit and try this one. ⚡️

So cool! I have a question about the regular rock to fakie - is there a version of it like this, that involves popping into position vs just lifting the front wheels and smacking them down? If so, is it called something different? Thanks!

I can do a fakie rock where I like the tail so it goes over the coping but something about that "bonk" over the coping and being in the air for a second seems so gnarly ha ha

It's the double evil rock: you can hang up on the bonk or on the way back in 👺👺 Nose bonk rock transfer over spine is another double death trap.

Do you push the tail down before the coping for the fakie ollie bit, once you reach it, or kinda after?
@bendegros5 жыл бұрын
Dont think of it as pushing down on the tail. It's more a horizontal nudge towards the coping as you ride up to it.

Also, how are you getting info fakie on the approach? Fakie drop in? Fakie push? Ideally rolling in fakie from another trick on the opposite transition?

Is it just me or is "Fakie Disaster" a dumb name for it? Like, a disaster is a 180 to rock. Why is a fakie ollie to rock also a disaster variation?
