Farmed 20 armors the other day! here are other tips for it! TIP1: Before taking down the comm array, pick the "locate illegal satelites" mission around that comm array (i think it works if you pick it for other); you won't get attacked, you won't get a crimestat for taking down the array AND you will be able to pick the "reconnect comm array taken down" mission after you take it down, making impossible to reenable it with a mission (someone can enable it manually). Easy peasy. TIP2: farm the red wind delivery reputation up to lvl 2, you will get a mission for getting 3 boxes from a bunker by 45k. Those bunkers ALWAYS spawn the elite guards after 5 min if they are dead as they are guard vs ninetails bunkers. With this mission you will completely avoid the turret issues (as they will respawn fast), guards that don't see you kill other guard will be friendly and you will gain 45k easily, also each time you get the boxes both guards and ninetails will respawn so you have 3 guaranteed respawn waves TIP3: Additionally if you previously destroy/self destroy 1 or 2 ships with a torso armor or bigger (things that generally cant fit into a backpack, torso armor or things like the pembroke suit) on the ship inventory you will generate 2 large boxes you can move around with a tractor beam that are extreme useful for moving weapons/armor from a bunker without the need of moving the bodies around. Those boxes persist inside your ships, but can't be moved inside any inventory! And they can load like 4 entire sets inside!

30K protection means there is a heartbeat that happens very 5 minutes that takes tabs of things. When a server crashes, this ledger takes a while to replicate to other servers. If you login instantly, 8/10 this replication didn't happen to the shard you went on and you lost stuff. So you *always* always have to wait at least 5 minutes, I always do closer to 10 minutes (especially since 3.18) before logging in. 9/10 times this works. But yes, since 3.18 your ship goes to your home set planet. But you should still give it time. The new setup is annoying if youre like based in MT by home spawn but operate in Crusader or Hurston.

Yes and no. Players don't need the mission to re-enable the comm array. Any smart player that wants to thwart criminals will have noted the alert that a comm array is being hacked. That's something you can't avoid even if you take the mission instantly. They can just go to the comm array without the mission to thwart you and/or just bring the comm array up at a later time. Which is what most lawful PVP players actively do.

Saw a player with this armor in my bunker when I went to do a legal bunker mission before 3.18. Thought he was a special type of enemy, so I opened fire immediately. Imagine my new player surprise when I got a crime Stat and he came back in what looked an eclipse to gun me down 😢. Kept the armor chest and legs lost everything else when I was released from prison.

There are blind spots to both turrets at the same position, at least for smaller ships. I didn't realize that you could attack the turrets without getting crimestat though, so that may be the better way. Also, tractor beaming things onto the bunker elevator drops them for whatever reason. It's like a tractor beam forcefield around the elevator.

If you try and tractor something on an elevator (when not standing on it) or off an elevator (when standing on the elevator), you'll get these issues and the body gets the red outline, dropping the body. just try to give it a bit of momentum towards the elevator edge, and it will stay on it. I think the reason for this is that the elevator is a moving entity object.

There's also a delay for the beam disconnect. So if you're close enough to what you're tractoring onto or off the elevator, and both you and the object get onto the same surface within about 3 seconds, the beam will persist and the object will not desync its position.

if you get cs3 by accident maybe shot a friendly, go straight to area 18 to armictice to drop off guns and ammo then crash ship in restricted area beside station somewhere. It will spawn you in the station where if you go surrender at the fine payment terminal you only get 1hr prison sentence, mine a bit to reduce time and you can be out in 30 min

When you 30k like that, it will show up as "unknown" status but if you wait a bit (around 5 minutes), the game usually brings the ship back & you can retrieve !

FYI, tractor beams do not work across the elevator / non-elevator boundary in bunkers even when there isn't lag, noticed you had some frustrations there. That's why the tractor beam loses lock around the elevator a lot.

If you leave the A2 alone for 12 hours it may be properly stored at your home planet. If by chance the 30k recovery ultimately faiis you may at least be able to sell some of those items in vhelcile inventory and cargo in the hold. Have you tried to use the gold datacard from the black kite mission to hack the com array? I believe it'll hack it faster than a tiger claw. Awesome video! I like how you explain everything as you go.

Another way to do the comm arrays is to park your ship more than 16km away, then take the hoverquad from your ship to the array. It easily avoids missiles, then park it inside the antenna structure where the turrents cant hit it. Do the same in reverse, go up to your quad and fly back to your ship

that's a lot of work to disable the CommSat. Just take any medium size ship and fly between those Tanks on the lower central part of the satellite. The turrets can't reach u there. I've done it even in something as big as a Cutlass. Just drop a few flares in and out. That info about where the ship goes after 30K is very useful! I didn't know

It doesn't go to your home location and you don't need to go there. You just need to wait for it to no longer say 'claim'. The location will be your home, but you can retrieve it where ever you are

Isn't your ship sitting out at Sherman where you left it? Rather than claiming it and risking destroying the loot, fly back out there and pick it up. Assuming you are on the same shard of course. This is what I usually do in these cases.

Why didn't you use the bombs to blow up all 3 turrets in 1 go ? I mean that's what an A2 is for lol. Second, accept the mission to retake the comm array to prevent others from getting it. Third it's faster to loot with a 1 or 2 SCU box that you have to create first. Take the box with you. Once everybody is dead. Dump what your wearing in the box so your naked. Go to body to loot; drag undersuit to your inventory to equip everything in 1 go. Go to your box, drag undersuit to box to transfer the whole set in one go. Repeat. Take the box up to your ship when done.
