What's up fellow gold makers! Coming at you today with a bit of information that y'all might like! I've recently started doing the stonehide leather farm featured in this video, and not only is it great for farming two different types of raw mats, but it also is a great way to get the world drop twink gear that sells for 20k+ on some servers per piece (depending on ilvl and bonus stats such as leech, speed, etc.). These drops are an excellent way to supplement an already lucrative farm. I've been increasing the speed at which I farm mobs in this area with 2 items: stonehide leather barding and fighter chow. How do these increase efficiency you ask? Simple, the stonehide leather barding prevents you from being dazed while mounted, so you can butt pull a couple of groups of mobs quickly. Pulling more mobs, means you get hit more, thus taking more damage. The fighter chow helps here by increasing your out of combat health regen by 400%, so while you are skinning up your conquest, you are quickly healing back to full health and ready to pull again. Hope this helps you guys out, and happy farming!

I love how some professions connect - skinning and food being the most obvious (I have a disgusting amount of Wildfowl eggs...) and if you have a LW, the Enchanting flip links to the abundance of leather and is also a good way of getting Blood of Sargeras.

hey man great stuff as always! There is a nice place to farm big gamy ribs to the north west of the witchwood flight path in highmountain called cliff's edge (where rexxar hangs around). Anyway the spinetusk piglets there are great for big gamy ribs and stone hide leather. they spawn quick and you can do a small route up and down the side of the cliff, just follow the piggies, kill and repeat. For Big Gamy Ribs, go to Nesingwary Camp, head south a bit and you'll find a rock surrounded by goats. Aggro everything, AoE them down and the respawn before you could even have a chances to server hop. Just keep circling the big rock. You'll get a stack of 200 in no time.

u can always purchase the boon of the blood hunter with your main and then enchant an heirloom shoulder appropriate for your alts gear type and mail that to the enchanted shoulder copy to the alt so u can use when farming for blood. Right now there is a drop in ilvl but its not gonna hurt while farming and in 7.2.5 the upgrade tokens will be available to purchase for heirlooms so make sure u buy all the shoulder upgrades first

Nice vid ! Normally the blood enchant have an internal CD if i remember (like 2 or 3 per hour if i remember, i tested it myself while i was farming leather on a usual 2 hour session and this was true for me). For me, the best way to get blood is : 1- skinning (rank 3) 2 - gathering herbs (rank 2) And i get a way better spot to farm big gamy ribs but sorry i keep it for myself, y'll find out eventually ^^ (a clue : it's in highmountain ;) )

Server Hop Porcupines are better than the instaspawn goats for a majority of classes (goats are better for boomkins and aff locks), but you're right about bloods. Gathering is way better, but since not everyone has gathering profs, have to make that section work for the masses. :)

Hi and thanks for your videos! Do you know of any addon that will put some info in the mob tooltip if that mobs drops a specific item I'm farming? (Being able to decide which items to track would be almost necessary there.) @wtbgold I'm able to farm about 400 felslate/hour with the living felslate upgrades. a couple questions, though: you said rank 3 gives "over a 100% chance to mine felslate." could you elaborate a bit? i've found that about 1/3 of the basilisks i mine give only grey items, no ore. when i do get ore, though, i get up to 3 ore per mob. the amount of ore im getting is fine, I just want to know if you get similar results (i.e. do you get grays fairly often instead of ore). Also, do you have recommendations for prospecting this ore? I've read that mass prospecting isn't advisable, something to do with the gem chips predicting what color gems you're going to prospect. do you mass prospect or no? please read and reply! thanks a lot, reckles. love ya bud

Sure sure. If something has a 150% chance to drop ore, then it could have a 50% chance to drop 3, or a 100% chance to drop 1 and an additional 50% chance to drop 2. In this case you have something like a 50% chance at one, 25% for two, and 12.5% for three. Well boomy for sure. Starfall used to be amazeballs for AoE farming (watch the filthling farm video) and druids are the best for a dual gatherer. I'm a Fury Warrior main though, and that's why I love Veng so much, because it's pretty much like Blizz said, "What if we took a fury warrior, doubled its health and armor, and gave it 150% leech? That could be a tank, right?"

Damn good points. Dual gathers, you mean skinning and mining or just any two in the game? And yeah honestly I never played a tank before VDH, which feels a lot more like a DPS with huge mobility, self healing and some of the flashiest abilities in the game. In fact, in 7.2.5 it looks like we're getting some serious dps increases across the board as well, which should make world content even more fun and easier.

Dual gatherer refers to Mining+Herbalism. It's a little different for Legion gatherables, but generally, you don't want to have to run the same basic route on your miner and your herbalist when you can run a slightly slower lap on one toon and get both.

Hey Reckles, great video as always. Been using your Aethril route for about an hour now and already got Rank 3, I believe at 154 Herbalism. Go figure. My question is, what the hell do I do with all these raw herbs? I am only level 101, I rolled on a high pop server because my horrible main server (Cenarius) is horribly inflated, so even non-rare battle pets go for 150k and up.

Grats! For what to do with it all, I mean, you can always just sell it all on the auction house. As far as what other professions use herbs, Alchemy and Inscription mostly. Scribes mill herbs into pigment and convert that into ink to make glyphs, right now on most servers, if you farm 1000 gold worth of herbs, you can turn it into 4-5000 worth of glyphs.

@WTBGold I think you need to update this, I am not sure how much Leystone Ore you were farming before 7.3 dropped. But I just killed two packs and some didn't even drop the ore when I mined them, and at most some dropped two ore, and others dropped one, if any at all.

Every class is viable, and it depends on whether you are farming onsey-twosey, AoE packs, current content, or old. For mining/herbalism, druids are still the best. For new content you want to be a tank class or have a pet that can take a lot of dmg. For old content, you're one shotting everything anyways, so dps doesn't matter, but pick something that can solo old raids and uses either leather or mail because of the crafted legendaries that grant flying. Druid, DH, Shaman, Hunter

+施雅學 Server hop and cross realm assist are addons that scan premade group finder parties for auto invite groups on another server but in your zone. So, if you kill a dense pack of enemies, you click the server hop button and switch realms, allowing the enemies to instantly "respawn"

For skinning, it's nice to grab Leatherworking so you can be self sufficient. My general advice is to have one dual-gatherer wiht mining and herbalism, have one Jewelcrafter and Enchanter, so you can do shuffles without mailing, and then it's up to you. :) If time is limited, it can be worth it to have your skinner be a tailor, since they both earn gold by killing.

Well mine doesnt. Nothing seems to sell, I've tried enchants, tomes, gems, all of it. Nothing makes any kind of a decent profit. It literally took me a month to sell 20 rings enchants, and i barely broke even after they sold the price dropped so much.

Dont bother with raptors for eggs. the area they roam in stormheim have sea gulls which you can 1 hit, each and every one of them drops an egg and they spawn in large packs and short spawn times
