I'd also add on here that if you have an Engineer, make sure that they have the Zapthrottle Mote Extractor on them, because they can basically farm tiny spots of light in various zones for motes. I used to do laps around Zangarmarsh in BC while waiting for AV queues and farmed Motes of Water, and would make tons of gold doing it. It's less useful now, but if you're gonna be farming on an Engineer, anyway, it's basically free gold for no extra effort.

I'm going to add that you can get additional motes of life when you have herbalism if you take the time to 'skin' the bog NPCs. I can't find my data on it, but Wowhead shows it at about 9% of the time. Additionally, if you are bored with these solo runs and want something a little different, you can run Steamvaults (on normal) with a miner and get life, fire and earth (maybe water too) there. You get Cenarion Expedition rep, which will net you a mount if you don't have it and being able to use the vendor outside the instances. And of course, a chance for some khorium. Mana tombs is decent for motes of shadow and Consortium rep. There are patterns gated behind these reps as well. I've used almost all of the solo farms (except the air, that one's new for me), but I just kept them for crafting items so I don't have to buy them or go farm on a regular basis. I might have to re-think that. Will be back tomorrow after work for the secret link. :)

One little trick for primal mana if you farm on a druid (or arcane mage). The mobs that you farm are immune to arcane damage so you can hit them with moonfire to pull them a little closer then hit them with sunfire to kill them. With a full group farm it is pretty much a non issue but if you are solo or a smaller group you can pull them closer. Keep in mind they do have a range and will leash on you if you pull them too far.

i've farmed the hell out of primals. can confirm they do sell well, unfortunately i needed them for my all the things grind. 95% was hard work. still need a few more primals to finish my crafted bc gear. great video!

Have you done a video on Gold Making for those who don't have a lot of time to invest in the game? It's one thing to farm stuff, when you don't have to make the choice of getting further in the game, or spending hours Crafting, Optimizing your AH operations, and/or going on various farms. Obviously, it stands to reason one won't get rich, if one doesn't invest time, but I'm thinking more in the lines of, not having to worry about essentials (enchanting gear, repair and travel costs, food etc) and slowly building up your nest egg.

Gold is a gating mechanism that you have to spend some time on, but if you focus on the most efficient things, then you can spend less time jumping over arbitrary hurdles and more time enjoying the game how you see fit.

So the The Sentinel's Eternal Refuge is kinda nerfed since it wont allow you to cast any spells while on the wisp form. Still good to dungeon farm and sometimes my travel form bugs out into ground travel form so I just use an autoatack macro instead of an spell. (Rip moonfire for solo primals)

Why do I stay in combat after killing the mobs for the solo primal air farm? It means I can't go back into flight form for like 5-10 seconds sometimes.

When you kill the enraged air spirits, they spawn an enraged airy soul, which you're in combat with until the soul disappates. With the crafted boots, you auto mount, so it's less of a problem, but you could do something like make a weak aura that says "mount up" that triggers whenever you're not in combat and not mounted.

I've tried cancel aura macros, adding bubble wand in the macros and a few other things but I can't figure out the trick to it. I built the speed farming setup a few months ago from your insanely fast speed video which took a bit to get going and really want to use it for more than just dungeon farms. Any ideas? The Legion legendary effects, crafted legendaries included, don't work past level 115, so you need to stop XP before that. You can get higher stats if you stop at 110 but anywhere 110-115 will be fine for farming old content stuff..

@@WtbgoldBlogspot where I go, there are 7 air elementals, and each drops between 2-3 motes, and the first respawns after the seventh is killed and so on and so forth. I was out there just last week, I farmed for 10 mins and got 19 primal airs + 8 motes ... That's basically 2 primals per minute. And I was out there because one of the plans I have sells for 120K on my server, and it requires 6 airs to make, I made 700k last week selling that item =)

For most things I quote the 2-month US Regional Average. If you're prices are lower consistently, then you know approximately how much to adjust the quoted prices. Every server is different, and just imagine how long these videos would be if I actually went in-depth on every price point.

Nothing that he claims to sell, actually sells on any server that I have seen. These videos are a huge waste of time. You will make more gold just getting to max level and doing quests, and that is guaranteed gold. I am 100% convinced that TSM is designed to scam anyone that uses it into wasting their time trying to sell things that will never sell. Things that I have tried after watching these videos (and made VERY little gold from): Pet Farming, Transmog Farming, Herb/Ore Farming, Cloth/leather Flipping, Creating old expansion rare crafted items, farming Primals, Farming Materials from older expansions, fishing, cooking, Alchemy, Darkmoon Faire transmog. The only things I have actually made money on since BFA released: Selling Blood Stained Bones at the beginning of the expansion, selling BOE PvP gear at the beginning of the expansion.

One server such as this is Daggerspine US, terrible server to make gold on, what sells one day wont sell again for 2-3 weeks, and has the lowest US prices in the game I swear to god !!
