Are you serious? They are bailed that way. Small round bail if 2 people could move it.

@@deb4735 very serious. NO farmer bails hay with a net. SMH.

@@davidkampfer1441 three options....twine, netting or plastic. Depends what your choice of setup is on equipment you purchase and own OR HIRE OUT TO HARVEST/PRODUCE and your STORAGE of your bails.

@@deb4735 what I am asking about is at the very end of the video they place a net over the bale. It has a hard loop on it. We use hay nets that don’t have the hard loop.

Seems like a chore for horses to get a little hay. Don't like feeder ring, it's for cows and will wear the mane off your horse

Hi George, slow feeder nets are excellent for horses, providing 24/7 feed without wastage (up to 40% of a loose bale is wasted). Trust me, the horses get very efficient at pulling the hay through the net, and it mimics natural grazing. Their weight is nicely maintained without risk of respiratory illness from having their head stuck in a loose round bale. And I haven't ever seen my horses put their head through the ring feeder's holes... they are tall enough to reach over, even when the bale is nearly depleted. Could be a problem for ponies or minis though. Thankfully both of my boys have full luxurious manes!
