I think the issue is when women expect something or someone outside of them to make them happy. No one was born to, nor is your happiness anyone's responsibility. You have create your happiness and sustain it within. You cannot expect someone to do for you what you fail to do for self. A relationship with God is sustainable, build happiness with where your blessings flow. Everything thing and everyone else is a recipient of the balance and alignment that flows from you.❤

I think the problem with me having a hard time receiving is because I assume when people give me something they are definitely expecting something back and I don’t want to have that burden of owning anyone anything. Because let’s be honest there’s no free lunch in this world. lol. 😂

*Love love love the advice you gave about asking your man about a topic you are novice in so he can inform you about something he’s passionate about* . Also love the tip about letting him show up and accepting what he does. Thank you for giving practical advice on how we can rest in our femininity. I am trying to learn how I can improve myself and how I choose to show up in the world so I will be binge watching your content.🤗🧡

I'm currently working on getting my bachelor's of arts in psychology and I've been drawn to Family & Marriage counseling because I've grew up seeing toxic relationships and its very important that I understand these things so that I can become successful within my own. Your channel has really inspire me to continue wanting to help women become their best selves even as mothers because that is something I've struggled with.

Oh my! I'm so happy I'm not the only one that finds it odd that lots of femininity content is presented in a masculine way! 😆 I'm kind of new to your channel and what drew me to your channel is how feminine you are in your presentation. I've only found one other channel that also feels feminine. The second you started talking in this video a genuine smile appeared on my face and I felt a kind of femininity and joy in me that's been hard to feel lately especially with some hurt and healing that I need to work on. I've been wanting to heal and grow in my femininity but watching other content often would just leave me feeling worse because it came off as condescending, so I wouldn't continue watching.. I was worried that it was all in my head and I was just resisting change.. So I just want to say thank you for your content and I'm really excited to learn from you and do the work I need. You're a beautiful person and I hope one day my femininity and beauty can radiate to others as yours does ❤

I have a huge problem with brain fog. We have 4 kids and i feel after each kid i got foggier and foggier. I felt my vocabulary was going away. My youngest is 4 and it seems i can think more clear now. I do have parts of my middle school/teen years blacked out too, so not sure if that has anything to do with losing my vocabulary as well... I'm guessing trauma at that age. Anyway, since I've been learning from you, i have felt better just asking my husband, "what does this mean? What is this word?" I was embarrassed before because i thought he would think i was dumb and i knew i wasn't like this in the past when i met him. Since I've been reading in the Bible, my brain has opened up again and I've been able to organize our house better. Im usually all over the place. Quick story: You reminded me of maybe 10 years ago, my motherN Law let me know my broNLaw had mentioned how, "Marissa twirls her hair with her fingers and just seems girly. My gf doesn't do that" and i guess he told her he liked that. Plus i was never girly amd always thought that was a bad habit bc teachers always scolded me in school for that all the time😂. *They just married in November and are super happy🥰

Take it one moment and day at a time. Even if you don't feel like it, take it one day and moment at a time. There's no need to rush. Also, watch more of these videos and encouraging videos to help with your mind as well as speak words of life and beauty to yourself. "I will make it", "I will live", "I'm an overcomer", "God is with within me, I will not fail". Renew your mind with positive thoughts of truth even when your emotions try to fight you.

These losses are traumatizing. Jesus will heal the pain in time. Don't do this alone. You have a solid church fellowship? Trusted friends? I GET it. I've experienced great suffering and loss. I'm hear for you. Call out to Jesus. Read Psalm 27.

Hello Dr. Daf. You have been such an inspiration and your videos have truly helped me. You may have already touched on this before but I would love to know more on how to NOT nag our husbands and how to stay in our femininity during disagreements because this is typically the only time I feel that I resort to masculinity because I begin to feel unheard by my husband at times. A video I did not know I needed! Thank you Michelle, and thanks to the persons who asked for this video ❤️🩷🤍 I have book recommendations, from Gary Smalley: « For better or for best » (for women to read) and « If only he knew » for men to read 🫶🏾 They are quite connected to this topic of feeling masculine, and they give ways to better understand the opposite sex. I read the one for pen too as it helps me validate and understand my behaviours as women! Blessings ✨

How about if you start asking ( in a feminine way) but his feedback is that you are asking to much...or he gives feedback that you can do that yourself. How to respond to this
@apollofateh3246 ай бұрын
It means he doesn't want to be responsible for those things, and he's not compatible with you. The types of people that want you to be responsible for everything yourself are different then the types that want to help you: if you've begun the relationship as someone who generally didn't ask for anything, it will always be perceived as "too much" from the other person, because they expected to give nothing. You will have to find a new partner if you want your needs to be met: the old one has already informed you that he doesn't want to do it. Find someone who is more compatible with your needs.

Dr. Daf is it masculine to suggest the majority ideas for hangouts? My guy friend specifically asked what I like to do on the onset. I didn't answer b/c I just relocated to the city. Over time I suggested different things never giving a deadline. I usually let him work out the details. He rarely suggests anything. I know his personality so I asked if it bothered him. He said no (but too much will get old). So I can't figure out if he's agreeing b/c it's new experiences or he's just being polite...

@mfenderson27144 ай бұрын
I believe that she is just showing stock footage of couples interacting. If you see her other videos she also has other black couples. But seriously, the fact this bothers you is really said. Her husband happens to also be black but God made people to be in relationships with people of the same and all colors. If you are a Christian talking like this, I sincerely implore you to check your heart with the Lord because it's sounding like prejudice at best and racism at worst to be bothered by seeing possibly fake couples of different backgrounds interacting. And you can't expect to go to heaven not loving others. Plus other people marrying people of different colors has nothing to do with you.... You can't miss out on who God has for you unless you choose to.
